God damn American Horror Story is so good
I haven't seen American Horror Story yet, it looked like it could be good but potentially too campy at the same time. Is it hammy?

Anyone watching New Girl?
I really like the show and I think it's getting better from week to week. Jess is the kind of girl that if she was your roommate you'd want to smack upside the head, but in the show it somehow works.

It's kinda campy but not too much in my opinion...the last episode dropped a bomb that i absolutely did not see coming. I've seen a lot of horror type movies and whatnot and i like the show, it's a little crazy and unpredictable at times and then there's the other times where I just laugh and say really? or Ew, really? But that's just me
I called that at the beginning of the episode (had been wondering for a little while with the subtle hints). That scene was well done... very creepy to watch it unfold. I think what sets the show apart is the acting, particularly of Jessica Lange and Frances Conroy. They are both doing a superb job. I also think the show is interesting in that there are a lot of multidimensional female characters... not something you see every day.
I'll be watching Bag of Bones too.
I caught the first couple of episodes and have just been too busy to keep watching. It seems cute, but I prefer Two Broke Girls over this one.Anyone watching New Girl?

The first few weren't great and Kat Dennings has no comedic timing, but I do think it's an interesting concept. I just wish they didn't rely on the "live-audience" format, ultimately that's what ends up ruining it for me - the jokes would be better if they weren't relying on an audience to let us know when to laugh.I hated Two Broke Girls. The jokes seemed forced. I haven't been able to make it through an entire episode.

I like Big Bang Theory and I agree with your point - because with the laugh track, it just feels like it's pandering to the Nerds, but making everyone else still feel superior to them and "in on" the jokes.I really wish comedies would get away from the live audience. I like it so much better when they do. Most of my favorites have no live audience. Community, The Office, Modern Family, Arrested Development are perfect examples. I really think Big Bang Theory would be better with no audience as well but I guess they feel a lot of people wouldn't get the jokes.
Ha, I thought almost everything about The Sopranos was brilliant, including the dream sequences.
Was that the chick from the James Bond movie (the first one with Daniel Craig)? She is extremely hot.looks like Starz Camelot got the axe. I kinda liked that show, and that one broad playing the villain was fuckin hot.
