it definitely feels too cluttered. I thing they were trying to jam so much in there to male up for him not killing a target every episode. I really liked the brother sam part, but I really thought they could have gone much further, especially since the stuff with Harrison's school stopped there too both abruptly. But oh have to remember that they did them together in order to explore decrees dark passenger with sam so that when the time came he felt he could save Travis. But then he found out Travis was gone. Brother was light Travis was dark and it was about dexter trying to choose the path between. He even forsaken his Shepard to try to find it, but eventually realized that the code was much more than just 3 rules. Agree on deb, the shit she has been through its hard to imagine her even functioning. The finale does look crazy insane, but from the preview I feel like I'm not going to like it. And my wife said 'I swear I'd they let Travis kill Harrison I'm goin g to be pissed' and I can't say I disagree but at the same time I can see a lot of storylines to why it would make sense. The constant Quinn stuff is not needed and the computer geek and Batista sister stuff can go, but I guess that is setting up for next season which I don't need right now. I do like the new detective. I like that he's normal, professional, what the character should be, brings the realism back a bit. Think Nell be a good one if they don't go all crazy with him. Everyone seems to need to have some deep alter ego. Captain, laguarda, computer nerd. Next thing you know angels sister will turn freak.I think my problems is that I figured out the twist after the third episode and realized that the Prof was to Colin Hanks like Harry is to Dexter and then I just couldn't get passed it. I also think they killed the Brother Sam plot too soon. I think they actually have too many characters this season. Why have Brother Sam and the Doomsday Killers both have Dex question his faith or whatever it is he's considering? It feels cluttered. I still like him as a character and Deb too. I like her arc this season. In many ways she's had a harder time dealing with morality, what is right/wrong, dark/light than even Dexter, because it relates to her job and life, as opposed to some cartoonish killers. Anyway. I hope the finale is crazy insane. It will be the right way to end the season.
