Gimme a break, watch the first 5 episodes on netflix, give me that much and then tell me you can stop watching it. The female lead is smokin hot and doesnt look like some sleep deprived meth addict. Also, no sparkling.



One thing I find funny is its supposed to be about highschool students,after the first few episodes unless an episode surrounds a highschool event. With all the drinking boning and killing going on its hard to remember its about teenagers.



But of course theres an angsty love triangle with the female lead.

FUUUCK! I am only just reading now that at the last minute the BBC never aired Sherlock: Series Two in the fall in the UK. That it was postponed until 2012 for there and they only finally released a UK premiere data few weeks ago for January. Shit. This means we won't get it via PBS in the late winter like I was suspecting. I wouldn't be surprised if somehow we got cockblocked until PBS's 2012 fall season.

Netflix/other online streaming and DVD purchases of the BBC shows is never allowed before it airs on PBS if they have a PBS broadcast deal in place. The most leeway they allow is during the broadcast on you can buy it from the PBS webstore. Although of course if you have a region-free dvd player one could certainly order non-Region 2 sets from UK sites, heh.





See how the DVD release date for Downton Abbey: Series Two is in Feb? That date's only once PBS has just aired episode 5 of 7.

The thing I like about this show is it has a couple of mini storylines each season, as opposed to one season long story arch(though they may relate). like most modern shows and not every episode ends on a giant cliffhanger and alot actually happens in each episode, they dont drag stuff out.

After some discussion about Portlandia in the book thread I started watching it. The show is comedy gold. Some of the skits are somewhat meh, as it is with most skit shows, but overall its hilarious.

finally watched the 7 episode fall run of burn notice. That show is starting to get repetitive and bad.
