Schmidt was in fine form. That end sequence was hilarious. And Lizzy Caplan was on the show! And when Jess asks for the stripper with a heart of gold and a crotch of gold.

I cannot believe I forgot to mention this... she was supposed to be listed in my favorites from the episode. I have loved her ever since Mean Girls and she played Janis Ian beyond perfection.

JUSTIFIED!

Gonna be a good one I think. I am really excited, but I'm afriad they may have fallen into a very predictive pattern. I hope they do something this year that is somehow different than the previous season or it will have run it's course.

Meh the predictive pattern is still entertaining as all get out. The assassin character was cool

I incorrectly guessed how Raylon was getting out of that situation, I figured he'd flip the table but how he did it was way cooler

Yeah, but that's the sort of thing that needs to go more than one episode. And the predictive pattern gets less entertaining if it's still the same story. No matter how hot his baby momma is, the cowboy story gets old if it's the same routine. I'm not saying it will be but the same save the town, can't let go of the gunslinger mentality, am I from Harlan or a US Marshal, Are my enimies friends or enimies. It gets old. I expect this to pick up this year depending on how they work this Detroit angle. Looks like they are about to have an Oxy drug war played out in Tenn. So it should be a good one. I predict him and Boyd will have to drive Detroit out together to get back to being weed country, and the lesser or two evils. Probably some sort of complication with the baby, OR someone who uses the baby to get at Harlan. All the normal stuff. We'll see, I'll still not miss an epsiode all season no matter what. I bet someone dies at the end again.

All I need is him and Boyd doing what they do. Never knowing where Boyd is going to fall on the morality line. Eva flip flopping worse than Brett Favre. The one liners from Raylon's boss, Timothy Olyphant playing the modern day badass, and his ex-wife being hot and sexy as sin. That's all I want.

The only way to make that show better is have archer come on right after it.

It's a great show, and those are all things that have made it great. I'm just telling you now that if they just do the same thing they did the first two seasons, it's going to come back to haunt them.

The first season was awesome. The 2nd season, the only part I hated was the whole Wynonna stole money arc. I thought it was lame. The rest was awesome.

I'll go ahead and put this here, I had a blast playing around with this. I love Dr. Who and it's one of the strongest fan bases world wide. It's one of those shows that can appeal to everyone if if you don't like sci-fi or understand a lot of the theorizing, at the heart of it it's still about basic human relations, drama, comedy, suspense, ect. (Human-timelord if you want to get technical.)

So I take it you're gonna feverishly download the PS3 game in March as well?

Really excited to see what Moffett has up his sleeve for us yet. Especially if next year is really Amy and Rory's last on the show.

Wait... what?

I too am sad to see the end of the ponds. Which usually means the end of the doctor, but I feel like Matt Smith will stay another season or two. They hint all the time now at new companions, especially in the christmas special (Hated that chick by the way) but I think we'll find something completely new. I think it would be interestesting if they finally threw out there a (I don't want to see insensitive with this but if you know the Dr. then it doesn't sound weird) *** guy as his companion.

How have you not heard? And you call yourself a fan... Click here for more info.

On the whole, I was a little disappointed with the last Christmas special... but that could have to do with the fact that the previous one was just so fucking good. I mean, I enjoyed the last one because it was the "Doctor" - but I felt like it was missing some of the Christmasy-ness. The last 15 minutes were the best part of the whole ep.

As for the Ponds - I'll miss them, too - I loved the dynamic between them and just how great a character Rory became since his first appearance. I agree, I think Matt Smith will definitely keep the reins at least for a couple more seasons and then they'll work on finding a new Doctor. I'm really curious to see if him and Steven Moffat will leave the show at the same time.

I've watched the first 2 and I'm digging it. My only real complaint is the female lead. They NEED to do something with her - right now, she just seems like a cheap imitation of the character on Fringe: tough female cop trying to prove herself! Love Hugo and Sam Neill...both have the makings of wonderfully developed characters. If they can add a little depth to the main character (and make some better wardrobe choices - seriously doubt this kind of "cop" would dress that horribly for a job where it's assumed she'll be chasing ARMED criminals), this will be another good one for JJ Abrams.

I was going to for the longest time and thought I wanted to but then I totally forgot about it in conjunction with seeing some pretty tepid-to-negative advance buzz about it. Probably for the best if I don't get sucked into another JJ Abrams show---he/his series usually wind up ultimately mega-disappointing me, LOL.

Holy shit, I had not seen that, I am already afraid it will be an underwhelming let down. potential to be huge, I just doubt it will have the budget to get the proper technical backing. In the end it will feel like a flash game instead of a video game, but I'm still going to buy it and play the shit out of it.

Loved the last one as well, but I still miss Tenant more even though Smith has really grown on me. I wish somehow they could get the half Dr. (Tennant split) from the parallel universe to come back for a bit.

Is interesting that you bring up Moffat leaving hope it never happens. And I think the best part about the companion for once was actually Rory, you saw him manipulated, grown, change, evolve much more than any true companion that the doc has ever had. You hate to seem them go as much because you like how Amy and Rory are together as you do the relationship between Dr. and companion. At least in my opinion.
