i agree, but at this point i just take it for what it is, a zombie show. i just root for carl and his mom to get killed every second of the show.
I've been watching the HBO series Luck. It's by David Milch who was behind Deadwood. I know nothing of horse racing but it's oddly captivating. It stars Dustin Hoffman and Nick Nolte among others.
It's a slow burn for sure. I just like the dialogue and the characters. I am sure all the different groups will be connected somehow, the latest episode showed some indication that the degenerate gamblers will have a connection to Hoffman's character. The lack of exposition and sometimes incomprehensible speech is a conscious choice by Milch.
Despite its critical praise, 'Luck' has been a ratings underperformer for the network, averaging about 625,000 total viewers. The series was renewed for a second season immediately after its lackluster premiere in order to fit production into the window between racing at Santa Anita.

Saw the frist ep of the re-tooling of Breaking In... doesn't seem to have the slickness it did before. I like Megan Mulally and her character is great, but I wonder if her addition is going to help keep it alive... again. Also sucks to see that they got rid of Michael Rosenbaum.
Anyone catch Awake? I've only see the first ep, but I really thought it had potential - they took a somewhat difficult premise and made it very "believable." I just worry how much stamina a concept like that can have...
I'm not saying this to be mean but I wasn't aware that Michael Rosenbaum had a career outside of Smallville. There seemed to be some very real animosity between him and the producers over his character largely being written out of the show. Lex Luthor's presence was still there but the few physical glimpses of the character were always played by a Shemp until the last episode. He kind of gave a "yeah, I'm doing this last episode for the fans" but I'm sure he needed the exposure and the paycheck.
It's hard to believe the guy's on the brink of 40 years old already.
I'm still trying to figure out how everyone is becoming walkers by just dying since that was new. Time to nerd out. It can't be airborne because then everyone would become walkers when they came in contact with the virus. Here's proof it can't be airborne. If you get scratched by a zombie you are turned. Shane and the prisoner were not harmed by zombies.
It is a plot hole so fucking big you can drive a 787 through it.
Yeah, just read it. Too bad. I doubt they would have done so if it had higher ratings, but on the other hand ratings don't really matter to HBO as it does to network TV.
