Walt is circling the toilet bowl. His implosion has been fun to watch. Is anyone not watching Breaking Bad?

I'd give it the entire 1st season before writing it off. It starts slowly.

Anyone keeping up with Sons of Anarchy?

Feel like this season is off to a crappy start. Too many things going on, too much of a focus on Jax and not enough screen time for Chibbs, Bobby and Tigg. Really hoping they can turn this around.

Other than "SAMCRO Goes to Ireland" I haven't found much that was utter shit... this season so far though, just "ugh"

Just wish they concentrate on more than just Jax - even Gemma is feeling far too 2-D in the first couple of eps.

At least their motivation for going to Ireland was a good one... I've always felt like while they were doing some pretty shitty things, they were still likable - Jax is not even remotely likable right now. S5 was ok... prepare for some big stuff to go down.

No marketing behind it and the show didnt generate any buzz unlike Downton Abbey.

The main problem is that this show is a BBC America show made in Canada, not a BBC show. So while it's great and all, it was the first one they did on their own and thus was held to a very tight margin for error because they put a lot of money into it investment wise for that network. If it was just a BBC show they were reairing, it'd still be on right now more than likely.

TV update:

1. SoA is sooooo shitty this season. Started going downhill near the end of last season and now I just don't even know what's going on. Completely disjointed and no strong through-line. Meh. We'll see if it gets better.

2. Breaking Bad is ending on such a high note. I mean, not in terms of what's happening, because it's so bleak and horrible and gut-wrenching and heartbreaking and all of that, but the writing and acting has been top of its game. I actually feel a mix of sadness and happiness that the show is ending. I feel like it's a novel and needs to come to a logical conclusion, even though I don't want it to end.

Poor Jesse. Poor Skyler. Poor Walt Jr. Poor Marie. Poor everyone but Walt. Do people still root for him? It just seems impossible to me. I want to see what happens to him, but I don't want him to win. He's not a hero. He's the broken parts of the American dream. Although I recently read something that compared Walter White to Batman. Interesting.

3. I watched the finale of Dexter. Why? Good question. Man, that show turned into a huge pile of garbage. It was probably the worst series finale I've ever seen in my life. Just terrible. Kind of so bad it was funny.

4. Has anyone been watching any new shows that are worth getting into? I like to have at least 10-20 shows on my viewing roster at all times.

So glad someone besides my GF and I agree on this... I want to talk to Kurt Sutter and find out what's going on. Praying this gets better.

Only on Season 3 of Dexter - so I have a ways to go.
