Guess I am not missing out on SOA then. Actually I lost interest last season when the show started stretching the story too much and was primed to jump the shark.

The main problem is that this show is a BBC America show made in Canada, not a BBC show. So while it's great and all, it was the first one they did on their own and thus was held to a very tight margin for error because they put a lot of money into it investment wise for that network. If it was just a BBC show they were reairing, it'd still be on right now more than likely.

Yeah I knew it was a BBCA original, So pissed it ended, I would have been less pissed if they actually concluded the show instead of ending on a cliffhanger.

HBO's deadwood did the same thing, I loved that show and it got cancelled ended on a cliffhanger and also right after had the "were making a movie adaption to finish it". treatment, which never happened, so i am not holding my breath on anything being produced to finish the story.

The only other period piece I like thats on now is hell on wheels, wouldnt be surprised if that gets canned too.

Deadwood has always been my number one. I'm going to re-watch the whole series after Breaking Bad is over and see if it's still my best gal. I still think about and miss that show. The writing, acting, directing, just everything was superb and real, but also very different. Al Swearengen 4 Life!

Walter White comes clean and ties up loose ends. Thoroughly enjoyed the last episode of Breaking Bad.

I watched the entire series the past 2 weeks(sitting in a hotel room all week at night, dont have much better to do). After a somewhat slow start, it was a show that lived up to the hype. I also liked that they didn't do this stupid artsy fartsy and or open ended crap where the "viewer decides" what happens ending Creators like to do with beloved TV series, i.e. if they would have ended it on the final episode of season 5, when the light bulb goes off in Hanks head that Walt is Hiesenberg and you see the look on his face when hes on the shitter.

I thought the ending was predictable, but only because I think it was the outcome for each of the characters I actually thought should happen, which I would far rather have than something stupid.

I just thought it was pretty cool in the last season, all the crap that was relevant from previous seasons.

The newest Walking Dead episode was a big meh for me. It was obviously setting up for things to come, but there was a large section of the episode that just bothered the crap out of me. I won't go into details to avoid spoilers.

Admittedly walking dead has been like that for me for awhile now. I almost watch it just because I've already invested 3 seasons into the show. I haven't seen the premier yet, but only because i really have no burning desire to see it right away.

I might be giving up on Walking Dead soon. I just don't give a shit about any of the characters any more and the little annoyances I could ignore before are now becoming major ones.

I know that he wanted to make it different than the book, but shit it's disappointing. He had the perfect source material and fucked it all up. We've never seen that done before.

Problem is so many fans and critics are so all over this shows nuts they have no motivation to improve the issues.
