The problem I have w/criminal sexual assault cases is that our legal system always holds men to a higher level of accountability than women.

Yet, in almost every case the alleged victim also has culpability...just ask Mike Tyson.

Nonetheless, I'm livid w/Kane...as this shit is generally reserved for NFL players.

Or NBA or MLB analysts like Harold Reynolds. We can generalize all we want, but even so, the amount of dummies in major sports doing dumb things compared to the rest of the players that come to work and do their jobs is drastically different.
I was watching a Real Sports segment on HBO that showed the statistics of pro athletes that get into trouble, and it's actually less than the general population (with the exception of MMA fighters-- there was an alarming percentage that were getting in trouble for domestic violence issues).

It's kind of comical how disparate the reporting on this is though. Did he meet her in Evans, or a downtown club? Does he live in Hamburg or Lake View (Lake View makes more sense btw, I used to drive past those mcmansions regularly)? Why is the Hamburg PD the one investigating (although, the jurisdictional handling is fucking weird in NY so...)? These things have nothing to do with his guilt or innocence, but apparently truthful (properly researched)/respectable journalism really has died in the US.

About a year ago I became curious, and looked up perhaps the same stats HBO used for NFL players.

Social media made it appear these guys were always in trouble, yet it was the massive coverage which gave all the illusion NFL players were gang-banging thugs.
