Because there's typically so much gray area in any of these types of cases that, IMO, I don't think he's going to be convicted (and perhaps not even charged) with a crime. Again, please note that is just my largely uninformed opinion because so few details of this case have been made public. But going off of that assertion, I don't think Kane is going to have any serious legal issues from this incident. I think the team will hit him with a lengthy suspension and an ultimatum to not generate any more bad PR for the team, and he'll return to the team when it's all done.
