Take this with a grain of salt. It's all conjecture and rumor citing unnamed sources, but this is starting to look dicey for the alleged victim. Seems like a money grab based on that. Have to wait for the police to complete the investigation and file charges to see what the evidence actually is. If they decline to press charges it will confirm the rumors IMO.

The Patriots' chamionships are tainted because they cheated (allegedly). The Hawks' Cups aren't tainted in that regard, nor are any of Kane's accomplishments.

Does the standard NHL contract contain a "morals clause"? If not, should the Hawks have added one for Kane? I imagine if they made a special case for his and he signed elsewhere, Hawks nation would have revolted.
