Incorrect. I would never yell at any official below the college level. I still don’t know how criticizing the officials in a multi-billion dollar professional sport earns the retort that I need to be an official, but ok then. Also, I still don’t care that you are a ref and it means nothing to the discussion.

I’ll just commit a hasty generalization like you did and assume you are an extreme ex-jock who is angry at the world that you never were able to make it big for yourself. So instead, you call other people stupid and rage about education while working a lower-level job that burns you out.

Nice comeback from a guy with three degrees!!!!!!!

So it's ok to yell at officials at the college level and above? Why? Because you think they are out to get your team?

My experience as an official has a lot to do with this conversation as you think the officials are out to get the Bears and do a terrible job. You also think it's ok to yell at refs at the college level and above. I'm telling you to get involved because you have no idea how hard it is. I can't even begin to imagine how hard it is in the pros.

Yes I'm an ex jock. No, I'm not mad at the world. I went as far as I could have. I never had any delusional thoughts of being a pro. I'm quite happy in my profession and make great money. I didn't even need three degrees to do it. I'm not sure where I "raged" about education either.

I'll just add one more thing and say, the Cowboys are complaining they were robbed by some penalties with their coach blaming the refs this week. Not too mention, the Bills lost their game due to not only a bad call, but choosing not to stop the game to review the play with 2 minutes remaining. This shit happens all the time to all teams. Like I said in my post above, worst refs in all sports.

That is an acceptable and accurate take. What's not acceptable and correct is that some moron thinks the league is out to get the Bears every game every year. They are the only team with a losing record because of refs. Not because they are void of talent.

First, no crying- I’m laughing that the Lions think this win is beneficial for them. Neither team is going anywhere. If we can get near the QB territory we can get a goldmine in the draft.

But anyway, it is pretty obvious the league has some sort of vendetta against the Bears, and I’m not sure why. Last week, Pittsburgh game from last year, whatever this was, and so on.

What is 115-year old Virginia doing to piss off the league?

We?

What number are you on the team or front office position do you hold for the Bears org?

It’s not a vendetta against the Bears per se, it’s simply a vendetta against who the public money is on leading up to the game. The Fields hype got everyone excited leading up to the game and a lot of people bet on them vs the lowly Lions

There was a tweet about the refs "setting an example"/looking after "the brotherhood" after the public admittance of the no call on Claypool from the last game. Thought it was kind of interesting, but not likely.

Boy you seem awfully triggered here dude. I have three advanced degrees and if you want to look up my credentials I can give you the information to do so, plus any references you need. So you are an official- who cares? Professional refs should be held to a standard and they are not. Your credentials working pee-wee football or other sports mean little to me whatsoever. I’m not talking about juvenile officiating here, I’m talking about grown-ass men.

I did say maybe vendetta isn’t the correct word. However, I think there’s something definitely going on in terms of what is happening. Teams just don’t get jobbed on the officiating as much as the Bears do regularly. I’ll check back in two days when the NFL issues the standard apology.

But go ahead, tell me about your great officiating career that has no matter on what I am talking about…

You want to talk about intelligence, yeesh, your debate skills are juvenile at best.

Wonder if Eberflus is going to send the game tapes of this week's crappy crop of officials in the Lion's game? Two fucking penalties in the entire game against the Lions and what, 100+ yards against the Bear's? Come-on.

I wonder if that helps or actually hurts more? The refs are probably like "here come those little bitches again, let's flag them some more..."

It was certainly possible that "payback" happened. Someone wanted the Bear's to lose that game. It didn't even have to be because of the gambling on the game but rather getting back at a football team who complained about the crew's officiating.

You're right. It may hurt more. IT is just so frustrating when you have officials in any sport who favor one team over another. I ran into it at the high school level and it exists also at the collegiate level. That being said, good officials take a lot of crap from coaches and fans. But when you pay these officials large amounts of money, there should be a process for punishing them when they make terrible calls like the Bears have experienced in the last weeks.

Here me out, I have an idea for revenge that benefits us all.

You can use your carving talents and send them some un-sanded carved wooden dildos to the league office. In your letter, tell them and the refs to go fuck themselves! Then if they try it, they'll get splinters up their butts! It's genius! Win-Win-Win!

Can you knock this shit off? What the fuck is wrong with you? We are talking about shitty penalties being called on the Bears and you choose to make stupid insults instead. Just for the helluva it, why do you mock my making custom walking sticks and canes for disabled veterans and instead talk about dildos? Is that supposed to be funny? I don't think it is funny at all. Many of these vets became disabled because of combat injuries including myself. These walking aids are beautiful and can be used with pride by the veteran. Please knock off your bullshit.

So is that a no, or a "maybe I'll reconsider down the line" or yes??

I thought it was pretty good revenge, sorrrrrrry for asking.

The game started to flip when Detroit wasn’t called for PI on Kmet by the sideline. Bears were up 14 and it should have been first and ten around the Detroit 35.

There is no vendetta. The NFL would be much better off with powerhouses in all the major TV markets. I think a number of these guys just aren’t good at their jobs.

There were numerous holding calls on the Bears but miraculously Detroit doesn’t hold at all. Take a look at the long completion in the 4th quarter to 84 on Detroit. Their RT is absolutely mugging Gipson, but no call.

These guys have to be better and consistent. I’ve been harping on the need for an Eye in the Sky Official for awhile.

It’s unacceptable for a league that generates billions of dollars in revenue to be this bad at officiating their sport.
100% agree as I have posted several times, I would never bet on an NFL game with the poor officiating! May as well plays craps.

Go ahead and question and follow whatever conspiracy theory you want. They don't care about your crazy opinion. You are just a speck of dust to the NFL machine.
Where did I say there was a conspiracy theory dipshit? It’s a pretty plain and simple fact officiating has been awful and terribly inconsistent around the league for years. Just because you’re a stupid sheep doesn’t mean it isn’t happening.

All I’ll say here regarding officiating: people who watch the game can never really appreciate just how fast things happen at ground level.

NFL had 80 year old refs for like an eternity and then they went extinct. we're left with these boomer cocksuckers like Jerome Boger and the other fucking assholes I can't remember their names. my point is those old fucks that were born in like 1905 had eagle eyes and they never blew calls like this. there wasn't any shit like "what is considered a catch?" then.

I mean they even had the decency of not throwing flags when quarterbacks literally got killed after the ball left their hands 12 seconds ago.

but hey, tell me more about how Tom Brady wears a skirt or something. even he agrees a lot of the new rules are bullshit.
