You are right, I can't imagine why Rango would be angry or undisciplined with such a calm owner who wouldn't lose their cool over simple things (like posting on a message board)

The over aggressive behavior like Rango apparently displays regularly is a sign of unhappiness or insecurity. It's not healthy or normal for that breed to act this way. I will pray for Rango and send him positive vibes.

Thoughts and prayers to any vet having to deal with Rango or Urblock....it's a crapshoot which one will bite the vet

I will re-iterate, take the dog to the trainer. That behavior isn’t positive.

Yes I do. 2 spectacularly trained boxers from rescue. I also volunteer at Boxer rebound, the rescue I got them from.

I have had 2 boxers that have required knee surgeries...1 had 2 TPLO surgeries and the other was light enough for tightrope.
Had they not been well trained, It would have rendered the surgeries useless- going wild and crazy and destroying the work that was done before the rehab was complete.

So yes- I know very well what the **** I am talking about.
Wild dogs are not cute. They are a liability to themselves, their owners, and give good dogs a bad name.

He has bragged about how mean Rango is...he would wear that as some badge of honor until he was called out for being a shit dog owner. Now it's all dogs are different nothing can be done.

My last dog was a rescue pitbull mix. She was just a pupper when I got her and had major anxiety issues. Trained her out of her aggressiveness and gave her a bunch of commands to follow. She went from being a dog that would likely hurt someone badly one day, to being very happy and humorous, loving and protective but not in a mean sort of way. It took a lot of effort but she turned into an amazing family dog.

Rango lets people know to stay back. 4 yrs old never put a bite on anybody but he would.
