Anyone become familiar with the new Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning game. The more I see and read about it the more interested I become. The names attached to it as "Visionairies" is amazing. R.A. Salvatore is one of my favorites, You can't go wrong with Todd MacFarlane, and apparently they have some guy who has been around since the first RPG on pad and paper. It does't seem like anyone thing is overly innovative but they look like they smash all the good things about other RPGs together in to this one. And they ahve a couple cool unique type weapons.

I'm done with Assassin's Creed... I don't me Revelations (as I have finished that one too) I mean the whole fucking series, what a complete waste of fucking time and space. I wish I could destroy the entire fucking company. I'm now on board with boycotting Ubisoft, I want my fucking money back. I apologize to anyone who I suggeted these games to. They were fun. I thought they were going somewhere, but in the end they are fucking worthless and not worth the time. I just finished the my 3rd game, the 4th in the series and they suckered me. I thought this would finally be the one, the one that has a point. Nope... after 3 games I'm not further into a story then before. The entire point of the game is just to move the story into you getting the next one. Which I will not be buying. All 3 games I have bought now are about .5 games worth of real actual story. I was confidant that they would get to the point finally in this one and make it all worth it, but nope. **** THEM I'm done. Ubisoft is banned.

thats why I didnt get AC: brotherhood or revelations. I assumed they wouldnt really move the story along since they all covered the same character from AC2. I dont consider them true sequels as neither had the title AC3, to me they are overly expensive DLC.

Ah a convert. See I wasn't crazy. Ubisoft will just push through sequels for AC until the game is so terrible that no one will buy it. 5 years from that they will release another game in the AC series and judge how it does and if it sells right back to churning them out.



If Ubisoft could shit in a box and sell it to us, they would. They don't care about their product, just that they maximize the profit for as long and as fast as possible.

Let's put it this way, Revelations ended so abrubtly I literally said out loud when the credits showed up... "What the ****?! it's over? How can that possible be the end, they didn't do anything!" so pissed, I was lucky I didn't throw my remote through the LED.



On a side note, when I bought my PS3 almost 2 years ago I picked up a recerticied controller at Micro center or whatever it was for like 35 bucks. it's been good for a while so I feel it's been worth it but I think it's crapping out as the buttons seem to be doing the wrong actions or crossed up or somethign. SO I bought a new one. And it's RED. it was on sale (as most of them are right now) for 39.99 so I couldn't pass it up. I know the red thing may be kind of dumb dounding but the previous two were both black and I found myself having a favorite but not being able to tell which was which most of the time off the charger till i had played for a while. I figure the red looks sweet enough and now I'll be able to tell the two apart. Win-WIn. That's coming today and pre-ordered Syndicate with it. Syndicate comes with a 20 credit. I got a $50 for signing up for the Amazon credit card (no it's not a dumb idea for me which I could go into detail but I won't) so the game and remote were $100 bucks and they gave me $70. I got a $25.00 gift card from the in-laws for christmas so I end up only down $5. I like deals.

Sounds like Supra has played longer than I have - I seriously haven't had any decent gaming time since I got it.... Although when I played, it seemed like the HUD was pointing me in the direction I needed to go...

It did the next go around. The game has a horrid interface on the PC. I dunno if I'm going to play it often, glad I only paid 30.00 for it, at full price woulda been pissed since the game lacks just enough polish to bother me.



Also more ppl get Civ 5. Got me, TSD, my nephew, and eventually my brother

So far I've been impressed, but have yet to experience any real gameplay besides rummaging through luggage for money and equipment. The soundtrack alone is pretty unnerving.

Figured speed and stamina might be an asset in a zombie-survival game... although the one dude looks pretty badass and is the melee weapon "expert." Maybe if and when you start playing you'll have to try with him first and let us know.

So watched the ME3 trailer last night. OMG x 1000. Is it March 6th yet? Also they need to do a full CGI ME movie.





TSD as to your war game you told me about. It isn't like total war at all, it is a straight RTS and the real question is did they "balance" the game or do it realistically.

Anybody play the new Twisted Metal? AOTS gave it a so-so review and said the real plus is the multi-player... it looks pretty badass, but I might wait a while and see if the price goes down or see if I can get a rental through a Redbox or something.
