Brunettes worse. At least Stalberg gets shots, keeps up with the play and back checks. He has actually been getting slightly better game by game while Brunette has stayed stagnant if not getting worse. Stalberg still sucks along the boards though. I am actually starting to think Brunettes slow ass might be making Stalberg look even worse than he is sometimes. He def isn't complimenting Toews in my opinion. Neither really are but at the very least the puck goes to Stalberg and he can also get to it.



I actually also liked Stalberg with Kruger and Mayers in the 3rd period. That won't stick though..obviously Stalberg isn't a checking line guy.



I have a hard time seeing anywhere for Brunette unless



Stalberg/Toews/Kane

Hossa/Sharp/Brunette (and that scares me)



It's what I was expecting this season to begin with before the Kane at center game started. Again nothing against Kanes center game he and Hossa have been great at times. But it has totally fucked up Toews. These lines look more balanced cause what we have now is a 3rd line playing 1st line a 1st line playing 2nd and a 3rd line which ...well....as of right now is playing like a 4th line (that's a different story all together). As for our 4th line in Kruger/Mayers/Carcillo? It's actually a fucking perfect 4th line.

That was an anomoly. Right now, we have the Viktor Stalberg we had for the other 84 games as a Blackhawk.



You put someone on a line with Toews, and they are going to put up numbers just beacuse of how great John is. I'd much prefer to see Rusty Olesz on that line, as he showed in Camp he has good chemistry with John, and he is a great passer.



Plus he doesn't have hands of clay.

4 poiints in his last 5 games, 1 point in his last 3. Typical Stalberg, 2 games looking like he deserves to be on the top line, followed by a bunch of games where he looks like he obviously shouldn't be.
