Wouldn't be surprised if Bolland got a call from the league... doubt he'll be suspended but I bet that hit will be reviewed.

LA generated hardly anything offensively. They aren't going to beat the Hawks scoring one fluke goal a game. Crawford was tested maybe twice all game. Keep playing like that and this should be a short series.

Saw a replay of that hit and uhhhh, yeah, Bolland should probably be in trouble for that one.

Huh? Brown is awesome and I'd love for him to be on the Hawks.

In fact, Bickell is playing a lot like Brown this post season.

I mean switch the uniforms and you'll have people crying bloody murder here. They didn't even call a penalty.

Left his feet, hit to the head, don't care if it was his back or his elbow, he hit his head. Gotta play more disciplined than that.

Because it wasn't a penalty. Richards is staring STRAIGHT DOWN AT THE PUCK. Bolland clips his head, with his back... Please explain to me how Bolland targets his head in that situation, and how Richards does NOT put himself in a vulnerable position prior to the hit.

You put your head down like that, in the offensive zone, trying to make a move from behind the net to the front, you're going to get hammered. And you should. Every single time.

I ...he....what? It doesn't matter. He left his feet to hit him. That alone should be (and is) enough for a penalty. And it should call for supplemental discipline. That he ended up hitting his head should only add onto to it.

Frolik and Kruger may not be showing up on the offensive side of things... but I wanted to point out how great they've been on the PK and contributing to Chicago's 97.7% PK.

I think Frolik has actually created some decent chances for the team, same with Kruger.

I agree.

His last 5 games he is a -3 with only 5 shots but that doesn't tell the whole story. He's been great.

It's been a joy to watch the complimentary playstyle with Kruger and Frolik on the PK.

didn't look like Bolland left his feet until contact was made.

He launched himself up high on Richards. Bent his knees and everything leading up to the hit. The only thing that kept him from lifting up higher was Richards head/body. Come on lol. Call a spade a spade, that's all I ask. I don't fully believe he was going for his head, but that shouldn't matter.

People were talking about the Hawks turning into the Canucks the last round, let's not start turning into their fans with these asinine defenses of bad plays.

oh shit, his knees were bent? lol

like I said, from what I saw, it didn't look like he left the ice until after contact was made. It's a non issue IMO

Uh right, bent his knees and jumped up into Richards.

Again, switch the uniforms and this thread is at 10 pages by now.
