The entire Keith/Carter event is being blown way out of proportion in the media and I think that effects the fans brain functionings as the media of most kinds over evaluate stories and talk them up to things they are not. Fans eat right into this shit.

Keith apologize to Carter a number of times after the incident. In a post game Carter accepted it and said himself Keith should not be suspended as its an incidental event (he also knows he himself wasn't clean on it all). I said it before sounds to me like the event took care of it self already between two mature vets of the game who actually do respect each other and understand the realities of competitive physical sport. The idea that the league has to be involved at all in this incident is just mind fucking blowing.

They want the players to respect each other but when players actually do show that respect and try to remedy the situations themselves the league won't get the **** out of the way and still demand full control while the media is demanding it. And yes I would feel the same way if the shoe was on the other foot. Who does this benefit? If suspended, will it keep minor events like this one from happening again? Just fucking laughable.

That's what you get when everyone has to be protected from everyone...and the people that don't get that aspect - all think they need more punishment

There was an infraction in the game. He was penalized within the rules of the game. No one was injured/missing games. Move on

And yes...it would be the same if Carter did it to Keith.
