Last shift was the perfect example. The puck comes up the boards to center ice. Kane is sitting at the blue line with a King defender. He is the closest Hawk to the puck, but makes absolutely no effort to move to the puck or gain possession. Just stands there. He is waiting for the puck to come to him, instead of tracking it down and taking the initiative.</p>
