Last shift was the perfect example. The puck comes up the boards to center ice. Kane is sitting at the blue line with a King defender. He is the closest Hawk to the puck, but makes absolutely no effort to move to the puck or gain possession. Just stands there. He is waiting for the puck to come to him, instead of tracking it down and taking the initiative.

You're looking for something that's not there. The last wrist shot he took looked like it had PLENTY of velocity on it.

Q has done this every game of the playoffs. Bickell gets around 6 mins for the first 2. Then plays a ton in the third.

Bicks has still played less than 2 mins in the 3rd though

As of Saturday night I was told Kane was healthy. Regardless, it doesn't matter. He and Toews both need to be better offensively. I don't give a **** if they're not 100%.

Play Bickell more please. He has been the Hawks' best forward next to Sharp, and got a massive 11:35 of icetime.

Well, that was a deserved loss. Lessons learned from the DET series = 0. Walzting their fucking self-satified asses into the game from the start and then expecting to "turn it around" with hustle in the 3rd like it's the fucking regular season. {{faceplam}}

Alright. Regroup. BRING IT ON THURSDAY MOTHERFUCKERS!

Bickells been awesome. If he played the PK his minutes would have been up slightly. I wouldn't read into it too much that his minutes were lower than they should be.

Anyways..anyone notice how absolute shit the Hawks were on the faceoffs this game? One of the worst nights of the playoffs.

Shaw only guy above 40% (he was 80%). Absolute fucking mess in the circle. Sharp..33%, Toews..38%...Kruger..25%....Handzus..36%...Bolland...ugh 20%.

Thats not going to win you any games or get you possession enough.

I'm really not worried. This was a must win game for the Kings. I expect that we saw their best effort in this game. The Hawks should win on Thursday and wrap things up in Chicago. Just have to bring it. Lack of puck pursuit was pretty apparent. Nobody wanted to get to the puck first.

It's incredible how a team can look so different depending if they are playing at home or on the road, this goes for both teams but especially the Kings. The Hawks looked rather rubbish. Shit on the face-offs and lacked the skating they did the previous two games. And to no one's surprise the only goal was scored by going to the net, that only happened in the later parts of the game, why not do that from the start? Hawks can only improve from this game. Hopefully Sharp wasn't too dinged up on the Brown collision.

Take the next game and win it at the UC.

Im not concerned either (only concerned about your Kane hate Pez :icon-wink:) ...dont get me wrong I want more from the top guys also like anyone else. Kings still haven't impressed me to the point where I think they can push this series long unless Quick keeps doing what he did to Bickell there late in the 3rd.

Think the Hawks are going to wake up with some bruises after this one though. Hammer...ouch. Sharp...ouch. Kings took some extra bruises also so they will feel it also. Scrudri took a good bruising in that 3rd period. Hopefully that game didn't cause other issues for this team going forward. No idea how Hammer got back on the ice his knee looked dead. Hes going to have a fat ass bruise and swelling on that thing. Wouldn't be shocked if hes out for game 4.

Guess the question now is if Duncs gets a game or not. If he does it will be only a game and something tells me its going to happen even though I don't think it should. If he does get a game it certainly effects the team for game 4....esp if Hammer is out also.
