I haven't read anything after the game yet, but I thought the D played pretty well. I'd like to highlight Oduya and Rozsival for pmxc, I thought they played well and that is what I expect from them night in and out. But specifically, I'd like to highlight Hammer... once again he had a all-star game and he deserves a lot of credit for the way he played tonight, but honestly he's played great the entire playoffs (and Bickell). Crawford played well too, the people I was with reamed him for the 2nd goal but I thought he was screened plus he anticipated a good shot rather than a broken play so I was OK with it.
Unfortunately, the offense just couldn't get going until the last half of the game, and considering Quick was in net, that just isn't good enough. The team has to be better. Can't point out a scapegoat tonight (Saad sucked tonight as well as the entire playoffs, but I wouldn't pin anyone, including him, as the scapegoat for the loss), just need to be better all around.
The slash to the head by Keith was a big no-no... but it was obviously on accident. Carter slashed his hand (thought he should have had two for that, no excuse for that type of play, could have broke Keith's hand) and he wanted a bit of retribution, it would have been a nothing play if he didn't end up with his stick catching Carter's mouth. Unfortunate, but oh well. I was happy to see Keith come back and let Carter know that it was an accident. Bad play, but classy outcome. He deserved the 4 minutes and I have no issues with that call, accidental or not.
The last minute icing waive off was bullshit, but doesn't excuse the Blackhawks piss poor offensive play.
Bottom line — Good game, lets hope the Hawks can take Game 4.

Oduya ended up playing well but he gave LA momentum right from the jump with a turnover on his first touch of the game and that momentum carried over and the Kings score within the first 4 minutes of game.
Even when Oduya plays well, he keeps you on pins and needles every time he touches the puck.
