As far as Keith's hearing, Everyone realizes that doesn't mean he will be suspended, right?

Minor fine, similar to Weber at most IMO, at best a slap on the wrist with a "don't do it again" call.

Maybe they are plotters and haters, this could be payback to the 'concussed Richards', who will probably show up Thursday in full uniform.

Not surprised at all. The one angle from in front of Carter/Keith looked pretty bad. What gets me is Shanahan acknowledging Carter's slashing beforehand. I really hope Walkom is done with this series. He's a total fucking disgrace. If he is consistent, and takes them both off the ice for offsetting penalties, like he did in the Detroit series, this never happens. Can't expect consistency across the officiating when you can't even get consistency from the same fucking "official".

Guess we need to talk about what sort of adjustments need to be made for game 4 because its a pretty big hit losing keith for a game. Messes with the blueline pairings big time. And we have no idea if hammer is going to be at his potential either.

It can start by the star players starting to produce on offense because it's going to be needed more than ever now. We lose a bit of the transition game with Keith out also.

I think the Hawks can overcome it but its going to take a better effort to start the game than in game fucking 3. Here is stupid idea. Put Saad on the blueline because these playoffs that is what he has been anyways......fucking slacker. ;)

Q has 4 pairings that have experience playing together -

4-7

27-32

8-17

Brookbank will probably see 10min tops

Other than that....the Hawks will be fine. All these pairings have spent time together.....and while Keith has been a monster, they have plenty to step up. **** them.

It was known before game 3...LA was going to be given every opportunity to win the game. 5-2 on pp's (including 4 straight) - while missing several LA calls (the whole Carter no calls, Toews getting skates kicked out from under him)

No call icing at the end of the game. Even Walkom getting the game....in LA nonetheless...why not in gm 1 or 2 in CHI?

And this is their 2nd opportunity to try keeping LA in it.

I find it funny the Hawks were one of the least penalized teams all year...and are tops in penalties against this year.

Hopefully this turns against LA and fuels a bit

As much as a lot of people don't like Brookbank, we've been spoiled this year with the depth on the blue line. He is a much better option than some of the Dmen from previous years, to name a few Matt Walker, Boynton, John Scott, Sopel was good on PK but after that....

At least Brookbank brings some toughness and can throw some hits, which will definitely help vs Kings.

I was surprised. Never thought there would be a hearing. It looks as though they may, may finally be thinking more progressively when something like that is a (deserved) suspension. It's a good thing, but until the officiating catches up, with the fans there will be this constant clash of "Well why wasn't that other guy called for ___?" or "Why wasn't ____ suspended for ____?" in a lot situations where a penalty should have been called or a suspension should have been handed out, but wasn't. Much like in what happened with Keith right before that stick to the face.

Either they are changing or it's inconsistency as usual, OR, for a more dramatic angle, a league wide conspiracy to lengthen the series.

Maybe the real Kane will show up in this game. Would be nice. Maybe Toews will start scoring again too. That would also be nice.

Kane, Toews and Saad. Saads getting off to easily because hes "a rookie". Kane and Toews are more important but it sure would be nice for that Calder candidate to score one goal in the playoffs at some time. He gets enough ice time to put at least one god damn puck in the net. So do the other two of course.

Call LA and trade Saad for Toffoli right now.

I don't need blow out offense with a team that can keep the pucks out of their own net really well. However can't argue that Kane and Toews need to step up on offense. Saad needs to also. Stalberg gets shit for not scoring what about that little Saad ******? He hasn't been that great lately at the back end of the game either. He's been rather...horrible. But he's a rookie right? **** that shit.
