How about 7.9mil this year for Hossa...1 more goal than the slug Handzus in the playoffs

6.5mil for Kane...1 assist in this series

6.5mil for Sharp..to be a complete joke the entire playoffs. Most unclutch player in the NHL

But this series will come down to Handzus and his 1mil and Bollig with his 575k. Time for these two guys to step up.

Are you really saying that playing with Handzus didn't hurt Kane?

Are you really saying that playing Bollig instead of Regin or Morin hasn't hurt the offense in general.

52 and 26 are worthless pieces of garbage, but the I don't blame them for being shitty players.

I blame Quenneville for icing a lesser talented lineup than he has to.

No...I agree

Handzus is expected to get Sharp/Kane going. He is after all being compared to Toews

Handzus should have put that puck in the net when he sprung Sharp for one of his many breakaways vs STL

It was also his failure when Kane was in alone in the high slot vs Quick and didn't score.

He's doing nothing for those two

It was also Handzus' fault when all star Sharp goes at the same guy Toews was at when short handed leavin Muzzin wide open

**** Handzus. He's been the Hawks biggest problem

If I'd only played the game I'd be able to break down the action without relying on stats and such.

Maybe...or maybe hold the same expectations for the players paid to carry the team instead of relying on the 10-12th forwards of the team to do it

Handzus wasn't being played as a 10th-12th when Q continually put him on the second line. Throughout the entire damn season.

Handzus has his place, on the PK. Other than that, there are other options.

Except that the PK sucks so I doubt that they'd miss him if they jettisoned his ass.

All of his metrics are awful and he fails the eye test.

Speaking of that, I guess that whole piece about Lispy paying attention to advanced stats was bullshit, or Zusless wouldn't be allowed in the building.

Wanting Regin on the ice over Handzus is funny. What Zeus lacks in speed, he makes up for in hockey sense. Regin is no better than Tony Salmalinen. All he has is speed, no hands or shot and no hockey sense.

The only options the Hawks have at 2nd line center is Shaw, Kruger or Handzus. While I'd take the first two over the later, Q isn't willing to do that.

And thus gets his deserved criticism for it. I don't see what the problem is with that. Nobody here is expecting Handzus to produce like a player such as Toews or Kane or Sharp or Hossa should/could be producing because he just cannot keep up with players like that and he just simply is too old. That's why people don't want to see him getting significant ice time with them. People like PMX keep mistaking this as criticizing Handzus for not playing like a star. No, it's criticizing Q for the way he uses him.

Q is setting those expectations by playing the worthless mother ****** in the top six with guys like Hossa, Sharp, and Kane! For ****'s sake, how do you not understand this?
