I believe him. Honestly doubt that any player would complain, or is dumb enough to complain, about ice time at this point in the season.

Other than the GWG Stalberg helped set up in game one vs the Wild, he has been pretty quiet. Q can easily make an argument to sit him for Bolland — hell, he could have made the argument for Saad too, but I think hes doing a good job with Saad by letting him play through this rut. At the same time, it's clearly not a decision based on talent, because if that were the case then he would play and Carcillo would sit. I think it's a smart move either way, Q can't lose this hand. Best case, Stalberg comes back with something to prove and if he catches fire that would give this team an unbeatable amount of options. Worst case, he skates around like he did in the Minnesota series and opens up some space for Bickell to score goals. Q is playing with potential right now, chances are he wins either way.

Exactly, his ATOI may only be 14 minutes, but it's the same as it has been every year except for the first one he came to the hawks. Only thing I can think of is that because it's a contract year he's upset that he's not able to get on the Ice more and put up better numbers to try to cash in. Or that maybe he purposely thinks the team is holding him back so that he can't cash in? I don't know but as we found out last time around just winning the cup cashes everyone in. He did have a drop off in minutes in the first round of the play offs, both from the season average and the playoff average last year, but I thought he was actually showing that he had more than just "go fast" in his repertoire.
