He certainly did. He will have to score again.

Didn't like the last 5 mins of that 1st period. Wings started taking over the game a bit more and once again some botched 2 on 1's by the Hawks again and not finishing good chances. Would have been damn nice to get out of that period 1-0. But at least we aren't down.

i would like to see these guys start hitting again in the third like they did in game 5. so deflating that goal on craw and he lost his cool there after it with the rest of the team.

get em in the third. play desperate right off the faceoff!!

Again, define him "losing his cool". Because all I saw was a goalie under siege and playing great the last 9 minutes of the period to keep the score where it is.

uhm not covering the puck and playing it to a blueliner that didnt expect it? fighting rebounds? he was shaky after that goal against. doesnt matter anymore the team has reacted well. thats all that matters. now they need to buckle the **** down and play tight and smart. officials are just waiting to get the wings back in this with a pp.

You didn't see the numerous great saves he made on the Detroit power play near the end of the period? I've said it before, I'll say it again, the way people judge goalies, both in crediting them and blaming them, is completely fucked in the NHL. From the GMs to the fans.

That elusive 4-2 win is still out there. Hawks grinded out a win in the end. Nice to see some calls going the Hawks way for a change. Looked very bad in the second period and the Hawks got schooled in the circles again. A full 60 minute and solid faceoffs is needed if they are going to take this series. I don't buy it that momentum moves from game to game.

Where was Howards Super glove on Frolics penalty shot ? There was a lot of room glove side. Did he think Frolic couldn't go high?

Probably because it was the exact same thing that Saad didn't get the penalty shot on earlier in the series. Im not defending Wings fans but the inconsistent officiating has confused a shit load of people including the fans. Saad should have had the penalty shot also. Had he then Im sure the fans would have accepted the one on Frolik more.

If I am a wings fan I would be more pissed about that very first penalty of the game which Hossa scored on the pp from. THat was a ticky tacky interference call..the penalty shot call on Frolik was clear as day. Obviously I dont really give a shit though lol...but if I were non bias that was the worst call of the game.

**** them AND their third-rate sad excuse for a city. Saad should have gotten an obvious PS in Gm. 4 when it could have been the difference between a win and a loss for the Hawks.
