I was more asking about what happen because I only saw it once and it was so fast that it looked odd. I gather from the previous posts that it wasn't offsides because Detroit Sucks put it back into their own zone for the hawks.

I have to say, I know it's easy to blame Oduya for that and there's no excuse for that play in that situation... but lip reading he said "It's 4-on-4?" and to me, that's something that Quenneville should have discussed on the bench... if he did say something than no excuse for Oduya, but if Q didn't even bring it up I kinda lay some blame on the coaching staff for not informing the players of what they wanted them to do.

NO, you don't blame Q for that. Oduya made a major brain fart that luckily didn't cost him.

I find it hard to believe Q didn't say as a coach that they needed to get over the red line before dumping the puck. That's the first thing that should of come out of his mouth after "play your position".

Franzen brought the puck in while Toews and Co. were still inside of the offensive zone, therefore negating the off sides.

When Zeus scored it stunned the Wings and Howard, and I knew we could win the game, but more importantly the Wings knew it.

We should have coasted 4-2 or added an empty netter if we'd had 5 players on the ice instead of scrambling around the last 61 seconds.

Oduya's icing the puck was another idiot play. Keep your head in the fucking game, dude!

Ayone else think that after Toews batted the puck down the ice that the Wings player slowed down and icing should have been waved off?

Completely agree on the wave off of that Toews icing, though that is the way they call icing now.

Back in the day, if a D man wanted to get an icing call he had to hustle back and make his best effort to get there before the puck crossed the goal line. The last several seasons I see all kinds of instances where a defenseman lets up on purpose to milk it into an icing.
