Just in general, the best passing teams don't rely on later round draft picks at WR and stock up with 1st and 2nd rounders.
For the top 12 passing offenses this year, six of them have a mix of 1st and 2nd rounders as their top two WR targets, and two (MIN and DAL) have two 1st rounders leading their group.
Only 3 of the top 24 WRs on those 12 teams are 5th rounders (and none are 6th or later). And of those 3, two are All-Pros (Tyreek Hill and Stefon Diggs), and the other is some dude on the Chiefs, who are still in the top 12 but having their worst passing season since 2017.
Meanwhile for the 12 worst passing offenses in the NFL, 8 of their top 24 receivers are 5th rounders or later, and 5 were undrafted free agents. And only two have a combo of 1st and 2nd rounders as their top 2 WR options (DEN who has improved significantly this year, and CLE who has a disaster QB situation), and none have two 1st rounders as their top targets.
So you can look at those top 12 passing offenses and say they have better QB situations than the bottom 12, but on the whole they're also committing resources to support those QBs at a much higher rate than the other teams.
