I am convinced that this Cutler thing is some sort of a disease. I generally don't even get involved in this shit anymore, maybe as a joke. We are all rooting for Cutler, he just isn't very good and appears to be getting much worse. Why can there still be some that can not see this?

I actually like bridgewater, too. Talk about inheriting shit.

Also Brees. I watched bridgewater at Louisville, he always kept a cool head. He's a hard working, smart and wants to continue improving as a Qb I think he makes the Vikes a much better team

I don't get the brees connection, but, I will say, I liked him in 2005 when he was still with the chargers, and the torn labrum in a meaningless game seemed shitty. That said, once they drafted rivers, he was (and is, may not be for much longer, guess we'll see with a real rb) pretty good, too.

The Bears are not going to be very good for a couple of seasons.

They are paying Cutler in 15/16 no matter what.

Why not let Cutler take the beat down over the next couple of seasons while the Bears reload the talent and get ready to develop the next guy.

I am cool with Cutler being here, because there is a good chance that a rookie would get destroyed with our Ol weaknesses and a mediocre defense.

rivers, IMO.....just can't seem to get over the hump. There's something wrong with him ( maybe a mild case of cutleritis) He should have been to a SB all those years with Tomilinson.

Do you mind I bump this when Jay becomes a top 10 qb next year?

I hope you all quote me with this.

I'm sure you say this every year pinhead. We'll just add it to the hundreds of other things you've been wrong about cause you know zero about football.

That's great. But you have called me Special person boy more than once in implication of my issues of epilepsy. I am reporting you, and the mods are more than happy to look at your post history; which is creepy how many posts are about me and my thoughts. Good night.

No, I've called you that because you are stupid. And you post a lot so that's a lot of stupid things said so it's not too hard to find. With all the bullshit you make up on here I'm sure epilepsy is another one.

Season ended and this wasn't bumped because Cutler had yet another mediocre year:

I'll bump this thread gladly at the end of the season.

At least this phrase isn't exclusive to Cutler, but another threat of a bump and another fail:

Meh.

I'm gonna bump this when Allen heats up after all preseason off.

Ah, ok. So they need time to #heal from the antichrist Cutler? Not that other teams in need of a xootindator thought the guys weren't qualified to run a offense? Like.. In over their heads? Got it. Thanks.

So, essentially they all got demoted.

And for someone else, I didn't ask about Pep Hamilton. He went to Stanford, got in with Luck and has done well for himself. Good for him. Doesn't answer the coordinator issue that has plagued the Bears.

So essentially they have have been put back to position coaches or back in college? Besides trestman, who was fired as HC, hired as a coordinator to run a different coordinators system.

Jays fault?

So it's the coordinators fault for Jay throwing into double and triple coverage...I know Tice was far from an offensive genius and Kromer/Trestman became predictable last year, but I am pretty confident their game plan was not to have Cutler force throws into double and triple coverage. I'm sure last year, Trestman/Kromer weren't expecting Cutler to be abysmal on throws greater than 10 yards.

Sure, I'll give you that the coordinators Cutler has had during his tenure as a Bear have not been world beaters...I'll even agree that Tice and Turner were actually bad, Tice shouldn't be anything but a position coach and Turner is just bad. Even with the coordinator that supposedly brought the best out in Cutler, Cutler was still just a middle of the pack QB. So yes, I can say the coordinators Cutler has had to deal with have not been the best in the NFL, but it still doesn't excuse his awful decision making...which for the majority of the "haters" is the biggest problem with Cutler. He has led the league in Int's with 2 different coordinators, at some point as fans we have to recognize the common denominator in the Bears short comings these past 6 years.

So we settle for mediocre QB because we can win with him. We also make him the highest paid player on the team while we are at it.

Imagine a Bills fan posting this on a Bills message board about EJ Manuel.
So you just became a Bear Fan while Cutler has been here....wow we if short memories of all the shifty qbs that have come thru here. Cutler looks like Joe Montana compared to what we had and what's available. Get over yourself.....

So we as fans should lower the standard for good QB play because the previous QB's were so bad?
