As long as the language is clean and things do not become personally attacking in nature the post will stand. Otherwise we have been given no other restrictions other than out judgement there.

They have eased up quite the bit on the O boards it's not like here and probably will never be. I also understand that it is the official website of the NHL and Hawks which when any child googles his team it will lead them there,so they need to keep it at a certain level. Now your Stuy's, Miller section sounds fun. If it was the 80's you would have been with us BlackHawkBeerNuts up in section Q of the 2nd balcony we were not welcomed to be a StandBy back then as they were an elite and well knowledged members only club. You can join them for a song now if you'd like.

Had my ST's from 79-91 which is when my son was born and yet another ticket increase so I stopped. One of the better decisions I made in life as the money saved has my son studying his 3rd year of medicine at Loyola now I'm thinking I should have stopped in 80. Which brings me to McD and maybe a smile to some faces. If he was to see how much money has gone to Loyola instead of the Blackhawks his heart would stop on the spot. So you can use that as a rally cry. Improve the team or I'll take my money and send my children to Loyola.

And fanof19 yes I know about the activities I was here for awhile but the rebuilding or construction of the site fucked a lot of things up. I was at the time trying to hook Klemmer up with Coca-Cola to sponser his Skate with Bob. I Still have a limited edition numbered Tannenbaum Bobby Hull plaque yet still unsigned on the back that I offered him to auction off to raise money for his charity. That offer still stands. I'm not that great with a computer and a lot of posters at the O boards have helped me along but for that I need not apologize as I could only work within my resources.

That's very generous of you.

I wasn't talking about the rebuild here. I was talking about the rebuild over there. Before you had to log in to read the Boards. Before the grand master decided to take control of our fun. Before there were any seats sold at the UC and it was flippin cold in there.

If Billy O'Rourke were alive, he wouldn't have hesitated to sponsor Klemmer's skate. Ahhh the good old days at Coca Cola.....thanks for the quick trip down memory lane.

Loyola is a great medical school. Congrats to you on your sons's hard work and your sacrifice to get him there. Let's just hope McDonough never tries to be awarded the Stritch sword.

Depends on how it is phrased.

You are expected to be a Stepford Fan over there. I rarely have anything too negative to say, but the fact that I don't have the freedom to do so, if i wish, turned me off. I am not talking about hate spewing or trouble making, I am simply talking about presenting an honest point of view of displeasure or criticism.

So if I said I was unhappy with the direction the team has gone since the hiring of McDonough, specifically the purge of hockey people from upper management, the way it was unprofessionally done, and the marketing first profit driven motives it would stand? Somehow I doubt it.

All depends on how rude or personally attacking the comment is. And that applies to anyone that you are expressing distain for; be it from the organization, league, or other posters. I won't lie, there have been some good posts against certain people that I just edited the rude and personally attacking parts to not be so bad and still get their point across.

There is a pretty lengthy Stan as GM (basically sucks), thread that has passed 200 pages with a fair amount of McD sucks in it too.

Then things have changed. I don't read enough to pay attention. I remember those comments being removed.

All the old threads are gone now that they re-vamped those boards over there. Not a single "McDouchebag" comment to be found. All wiped clean as a baby's behind. People might have actually believe McDummy had something to do with winning the Cup if it weren't for Pierre LeBrun and the rest of the press outside Chicago calling Tallon the architect of the team. The again, I'm sure there are people who don't believe he has media blackouts on things either.

Here, Stuy's or Miller's, we can share the truth without worrying about getting banned, censored or deleted. We support Klemmer's fight against Pancreatic Cancer with his Have a Skate with Bob (cause we're dysfunctional like that) We meet up at the convention, go on road trip games, Boo McDonough at the convention (something that will go down in IHN history as one of the greatest things ever), call each other Beat-offs, assholes, dickheads because we are dysfunctional like that. We have come together because of our love of hockey. We don't always need a link from people, because some people are a better source than the Chicago press, and we know it. If we don't believe in Stan as a GM because we don't like how he may have schemed for the job, it doesn't make this board less credible than the O boards. It means we have an opinion. Some of us are flaming liberals, some moderates, and some hard core conservatives. We disagree on politics, trades, draft picks, whatever, but we pretty much all agree that McDonough sucks.....because he does. (see what I did there?)

You may disagree with us Creature, but there is no denying that anyone here doesn't know WTF they're talking about. Even Grimson and his love for the Rangers.
