I came in to basically grab some work, upload some stuff to the interwebs then I'm going back home to work. I just fear my car dying.

Yeah mine is outside at the train station all day.... its a 2012 and Ive yet to have problems with it starting so I am just trusting my car.

Mine's an 06...it doesn't have that many miles on it for being an 06... But its had trouble with the starter firing in good weather before..I've had no issues this winter, but I'm always weary. I guess I also remember the winters when I was a kid and my dad worked downtown and his car was dead all the time at the train station.

It doesn't suck, but it is highly overrated imo. Such a bland choice when so much better can be offered. Definitely a college thing.

My shitty laptop. Just spent 2 hours uploading files to my new external hard drive after spending 2 more hours finding and installing the special drivers that my pc wouldn't automatically download only to have my shitty old laptop blue screen at the very end and make me start it all over. How can I back this dinosaur up before it finally dies if it keeps pulling this crap when I try to back up?

I hate fire drills at work.... not literal fire drills but the shit where product/client-facing people don't pay attention to the metaphorical train coming down the tracks and then when its about to hit us they start panicking and screaming at the top of their lungs to anyone who will listen, they stop following protocol, and they ask for status updates on the same shit every 30 mins thinking it will get them what they want faster.

News flash, if you keep asking tech guys for status updates we get pissed off and we lose time with context switching every 30 mins to satisfy your needy fucktardedness.... if I tell you it will be done in a day or 2 days.... stfu and wait. Panicking and sending 10 e-mails a minute only serves to slow people down as they wade through your babbling nonsense.
