My favorite teams
I love chorizo but so much grease.
When I buy chorizo I also buy extra paper towels.

Just finished eating 30 minute ribs
How they turn out?
Fantastic. It was only 12 out so I was a pussy and finished them in the oven. Grill would have been much better
Ever play restaurant kamikaze?
Wifey and I are out for brunch and went to a spot where we know the waitress. I couldn't decide what I wanted so I said to her.
"I can't decide, I want breakfast, order me whatever you want."
And now we wait.

Make sure you use the og chorizo with pituitary gland in it.But sooo good.
If the sweet baby Jeebus ever showed up at my front door, chorizo and eggs with some queso fresco and cilantro is what I'd be making him for breakfast...
Eternal salvation assured thereafter.
Food saver is a game changer. Love mine.Texture was perfect tho?
My bro bought me a vacuum sealer as a follow up so I'll let u know how it ups the game. First and foremost it will help me do a weeks worth of fam dinners and help organize. Imagine having porkchops and chicken u can just let come to room temp and sear off in like 4 minutes for weeknight meals ..
You certainly cannot be a picky eater if you play this game.My best friend in college (RIP) did this all of the time. He was a pretty big and really funny guy and would just hand the menu and say “surprise me”. He would eat, and enjoy, almost any food.

I think it was @number51 that got me to actually go get one. Great decision.

I haven't done fresh veggies, just meat, Chile, and stew...He had a link for one didn't he? I should get one. Ever put lettuce or fresh veggies in one?

Yes, his recommendation if I remember correctly was to just get a basic food saver brand.
I think I got the 5600 or something like that. Works perfectly, and bought a box of like six rolls of bags at Costco.
Did all of my green chile this year in the saver. 70 pounds in the freezer.

Vacuum sealer converts, I should be getting a commission on these things.
Lettuce doesn't work great, too fragile it comes out smashed and gross. Corn on or off the cob, green beans, zucchini, onions, carrots, all good. In summer I bought a giant bag of Vidalia onions from Costco, I love them, burgers, salads, my balsamic roast garlic cucumber onion salad is kinds famous. It was getting to the point that the onions were about to go bad, so I caramelized the last 4, sealed them, and put them in the freezer. Sealed frozen reheated Vidalia are > than just cooked regular onions.
Somebody on here was talking about buying a bunch of corn at harvest time, sealing it and freezing it. This year I tried it, it's great, it's gone already, but sealed frozen farmers market corn is >>> than store bought, or frozen.
This is the one I own, bottom of the line.

The higher priced models have features I don't really care about. I know some of them let you adjust the level of vacuum pull, so I guess you could dial it back and seal lettuce and other fragile stuff.
