Life's to short man, eat the god damn burger.
Meh. Soon I'll be in maintenance where I can moderate some things like burgers and fries.

For now I'm just going to get it. It's what I need to be focused on for a few months.

Took some of my leftover prime rib from Sunday, added some potatoes, garlic, onion, peppers, mushrooms, some stock, red wine and chopped it all up to make a hash. Then I scrambled in four eggs with it.

Waffle maker hash browns are the shit. When I'm being turbo lazy I'll buy the shit in the freezer aisle, leave those ******* out over night on the counter wrapped in some paper towels, and pop em in the waffle maker. Highly recommended.

Try dehydrated hash browns, we think they're better than frozen and way cheaper than refrigerated. But hell yes, waffle maker or panini press.

I've never seen or heard of these, are they typically on grocery shelves?

They're at Costco, I can't think of seeing them anywhere else, on line of course. They are really convenient, have a long shelf life, taste better than frozen, similar in quality to the ones in the refrigerated section, but much cheaper. With the waffle iron or panini press just spray some Pam on the surface and dump on the hash browns and in 4 or 5 minutes you get the best crispy hash browns ever.

HHM mentioned frozen curly fries in the waffle iron, I've also heard about tater tots. To my knowledge it's the only semi feasible way to salvage left over fries, it's not great, but if it's either the iron or the trash give it a shot. The waffle iron is having a moment.

I just ate a breakfast burrito from WaWa. Ham, eggs, cheddar, pico, guac, jalapenos, chipotle sauce, and a hashbrown in there.

I fold leftover pizza in halve and waffle it.

also, when I make hashed browned potatoes in the waffler, I put a layer of the hashed potatoes, then onion bacon and cheese and then another layer of hashed potatoes on the top of that and then press the waffler down on top of all of that so that it creates a hashed browned potato pocket panini sandwiched brekkie "brick" and it is literally delicious so much so that Ill never ever understand why I would ever do hashed browned potatoes any other way, ever than the way I just described where I put a layer of the hashed potatoes, then onion bacon and cheese and then another layer of hashed potatoes on the top of that and then press the waffler down on top of all of that so that it creates a hashed browned potato pocket panini

I am eating Dunkin Wake-up Wraps. They taste like the oven they were made in.

You are so extra with food but sounds awesome. You seem to use the waffle maker a lot, would you recommend?

I just picked it up from aldi a couple of months ago. I've only made regular belgian waffles with it twice. It's a cool way to replicate some fried foods without all of the mess.

I've done: those hashbrown things
"fried" cheese
corned beef hash
that pizza thing
a mound of curly fries
hushpuppy waffles (basically a corn bread waffle but with lots of onion)
bacon and cheese waffles

I will try the tater tot thing that #51 suggested this weekend.

I love waffles but you get them at diners or a breakfast place. Our iron got used maybe 10 times in 30 years, when I learned about this hash brown magic I had to tear apart the kitchen trying to find it. It stays on the counter now, right next to my panini press, a position of honor.
