Always butter. Butter makes your pants fall off.

I'm a big fan of butter, and have been fighting the good fight against Country Crock/margarine for decades. The problem is I'm not in ketosis, so that does not apply to me.

I'm Bart, you're Homer in this scenario.

Oh, it applies to you and everybody really. We can put a pretty exact timeline on when all went fat as ****. It was the low fat movement in the 70s. That’s what ushered in all the refined sugar added to everything low-fat when people thought fat was making them fat cause that’s what they were being told. So all filled up on the sugar, the margarine and the cheaper refined oils replaced the healthier ones on a large scale. Turns out the only bad fat ended up being the one man gave you, trans fats.

Now, everybody knows what to avoid so stop being bitches and avoid it.

I always have the 3 staples, Franks, Tabasco, Sriracha, and at least one or two others. Right now the wildcard is Cholula, all four of those are very main stream, probably the four most popular sauces in America. I usually have something more out there on hand.

Roosters in Bloomingdale is an average at best restaurant with an exceptional selection of hot sauces to try and to buy. Weird exotic brands, and being able to sample them before you buy is pretty awesome. I've bought a few online based on recommendations that did not work out, never again.

The stores around here have pretty good selections of various hot sauces. Specifically the mexican grocers always have awesome stuff.

I always have: Sriracha, Cholula, Tapatio, and Valentina Extra hot. Cholula used to be my go to, but it tripled in price one year so I like supporting the others that I feel like aren't trying to price gouge.

then there are always a few bottles that are floating around. Right now I have a bottle of Melindas Habanero, that one is pretty common. A bottle of Guacamaya authentic hot sauce which is really cheap (I think it was $.99 for 12 oz bottle) but very yummy, somewhere in the world of Valentina and Tapatio. I also have a bottle of U-Kuva i-Africa - Hot Drops Smoked Habanero. I haven't tried it yet but I will get to it at some point, it has a lot of sugar in it so not while I am doing Keto.

Cholula was my favorite until they tripled their price for no reason.

I'll bet they got so popular, "if we triple the price and lose halve of our customers, that's a win!"

Just got done with a late lunch. 3 year old had smoked chicken thigh with homemade Caribbean Jerk sauce and pineapple. I had a smoked chuck roast rubbed with a green chili rub from Burque I turned into pulled beef. Made a sandwich on onion roll with giardinara. Wife had a ham sandwich. She wasn't feeling adventurous.

Wow you can get your 3 year old to eat smoked chicken thigh with homemade Caribbean Jerk sauce and pineapple. I have to bribe my 5 year old son to eat anything out of the norm. The rest sounds great.

He eats nearly everything we eat. From the moment he was able to eat real food, he's eaten the same meals we eat. Loves chicken, turkey, pork and pulled pork. The weird thing is he doesn't like steak. I've tried different cuts, he just doesn't like it.

He loves veggies, especially broccoli, peas, green beans, cucumbers, sweet potatoes, and carrots. The kid is a really good eater, we're lucky. Eats all types of peppers raw as well.

Pork belly is originally why I made the Caribbean Jerk sauce. Pork belly is amazing.

Yum. Vietnamese sub places all over here, but have not found one that uses pork belly yet.

Canned, or dried hominy? I have only ever had hominy once, and I can't say whether I liked it or not.
