Played HOI4 all weekend.... hard game is hard.

I get frustrated, but I do prefer if a game is challenging me.

ares, you getting NHL19. Looks like they made some improvements finally to franchise. If you plan on getting it let me know, Ill get it for xbone instead of PS4, so we can wreck fools online.

No idea what that's about. I was just watching the gameplay footage.

yeah, I saw that just after posting. I know I am going to get cyberpunk so I am avoiding all coverage, but I skip through the video just a bit. Looks pretty exciting.

Just finished last of us and, holy ****, what an intense experience. That story was amazing. Gameplay felt similar to uncharted, but that storyline had me drained. There is no way I could beat that game on grounded difficulty. Can't wait for part two now, there's no way that ending just goes away.

still playing pillars 2 actually. theres something about it that despite being pretty meh overall, its addicting. the writing and story for the most part are typical obsidian BS... long winded and trying way to hard. and while the quests themselves arent all that interesting it is paced well in that its not a bunch of endless combat. many quests can be completed without any combat, and even the dungeons arent endless slogs.

I've put like 50 hours into pillars 2 and I think I'm done. As I've gotten farther it's seemed to emphasize the cluster **** combat of the first more and more. and I simply feel like I've seen everything it has to offer.

I just learned that lollipop chainsaw is now playable on rpcs3 so I'm about to start that. Always thought it looked fun. And I dig Suda 51s work.

Been playing this Battletech game.... turn-based combat where you command these walker battle mech things.

You are in command of a company of them and you get to manage the pilots and mechs, so there is an RPG component to the game that I'm enjoying.

Thus far it has been fun.

I am real interested in that but heard it was janky at launch. Been waiting for it to get patched up. How is it?

Single player story games are my favorite. I don't really care about super hero shit but still, spider man should be right up my alley. But somehow I am feeling real meh towards it. How is that shit?

I haven't played it, but I work with someone who has our taste in games. He says it's awesome. Great graphics, great gameplay, and great story. Says the side missions are repetitive though. Loves' web-slinging, especially at night. Says it feels incredibly satisfying. Also said there was a bit of a learning curve learning to swing. Haven't played it yet because of my backlog, but I will be purchasing this at some point.

Yeah I held off on it too, but it was on sale so I figured I would give it a go.

I had one bug ruin an engagement and I had to restart it, it got to a state where I couldn't advance my turn because I couldn't select my only remaining mech for the turn and have him do something to finish the turn. It is apparently a known, but inconsistent bug.

Otherwise it is generally very good.
