I enjoyed the John "boss" fight the most.

You can only spawn Cars, Helicopters, or Planes at the designated spots on the map where you can buy them.

However, you'll find more spots where you can spawn Helicopters.... the next main "base" you find will have one, and so will the one after that.

I found all the helicopters felt the same in terms of like speed/handling, just some have weapons/more weapons.

I bought the one with the Tiger stripe paint job lol.

You can head to w/e area you want but the story basically intends you to do John -> Faith (she'll start talking to you next on the radio) -> Jacob

I found no meaningful difference in difficulty between Faiths region and Jacob's, whereas I think after John's region they bring out a bit more difficulty in additional types of enemies... Angels, Heavies, etc.

I highly recommend making forays into Jacob's territory to unlock the additional characters that will help you.

If you use stealth, Jess and Peaches are a good combo.

One rando tip if you didn't notice it, but you only get 2 slots for allies, and while Nick Rye or the other lady who brings her helicopter are nice air support, keep in mind they cannot land and revive you, so it is usually wise to bring at least one ally on the ground.

Thanks man.

Honestly, EA is bad but everything that I've read has said that Bioware did this to themselves. EA gave them tons of rope on Andromeda, even offering more time to complete the game and they hung themselves with it. They refused the extension because they wanted to work on Anthem, which absolutely bombed. The Kotaku articles that Jason Schrier wrote really exposed how bad Bioware was at managing their development process. And now the studio head and lead DA4 designer are leaving? Yeesh...

Heck of a coincidence the studio fell off a fucking cliff when EA bought them, then.

I mean, it's not a coincidence because EA has definitely been a factor. They forced DA 2 on a less than 1.5 year development cycle (Which is insane and I think the game was pretty impressive when you consider that) and forced Bioware to convert to Frostbite during DA:I. After that though, other than forcing Bioware to continue using Frostbite the problems have all been on Bioware. It's like the first half of the relationship was EA screwing Bioware by being too involved and the second half has been Bioware screwing themselves and EA not being involved enough to keep them on track.

I look at it like this.

EA bought them, and took them and tried to increase monetization of their purchase by fucking with what Bioware does and how they do it.

Everything that cascaded after that, is on them.

Don't come into my house, trash it, and then blame me while I try to cleanup your (EA's) mess.

I've been thru this kind of corporate merger.... the internal damage they do, is so bad.

They force things like Frostbite, and this kind of thing often drives away the best talent.

They see the writing on the wall and head for the exit once a large corporatized owner like EA takes over.

They push for RIFs of anyone they deem to be too expensive, often just setting dollar values to purge and giving zero fucks about who they are actually getting rid of.

They push for blanket policies on development and operations that conform to their standards, whether it works for the unit they bought or not.

I am clearly biased having seen this happen live, but I put the blame on EA mainly.

OK, I have another question. Does the perk that automatically repairs vehicles "you can drive" also repair helicopters?
That would be huge is it does.

It does IIRC, any vehicle.... car, truck, helicopter, plane even.

Random aside on perks, but it took me a while to notice that some perks are one shots, and others are stackable.

Like all the perks for carrying more ammo, those stack 1 perk point at a time.

I bought the original perk for rifle ammo, but never realized you could stack it so I was often low on ammo on my first play thru.

The perk for carrying more throwables also stacks, and the one for more general inventory like skins or herbs does too I believe.

I am assuming they stack on your original play thru and I never noticed it until part way thru my 2nd campaign.

How do they " stack 1 perk point at a time"? I'm not sure what you mean by that. If a perk costs 6 points, how does that change?

One of my faves is to jump in a vehicle and make my AI companion drive me thru enemy-controlled areas and see whether the cultists get us or my companion randomly decides to drive us off a cliff lol

I’m not playing cyberpunk until I get one of the new consoles. I will probably replay Witcher 3 also when I get one

No need to wait. While built for current gen Cyber Punk can be played on current generation or the next generation right now. Once they update the game for next gen, anyone that bought this version will get a free upgrade to next gen version.

So zero downside to getting and playing now and will probably be cheaper as once the next gen version comes out if you have to buy it because you dont have the current geb version will probably cost more.

Parents are trying to downsize and cleaning out their basement. They made me take my Xbox360 back home with me after Thanksgiving lol. Started playing GTA5 and will also be playing Halo 3 and all of the Assassin's Creeds. Forgot how fun gaming was. Got away from it once I graduated college so now I'm thinking about picking up the new Xbox or PS5 lol.

So can you nerds tell me what the better console is?

Xbox is technically a more powerful system this go around but remains to ve seen whether develops will use that power or simply develop to the specs of PS5 rather than expend the effort and resources to use the extra power.

I play mostly non-exclusives so will get Xbox first. Will maybe pick up PS5 once they drop an exclusive that I really like.

Koei made the greatest strategy games ever
Romance of the three kingdoms
Liberty or death
Ghengis khan
Nobungas ambition
Omfnerdgasm

If you like those then you should try the Total War Series. Been playing for over a decade on PC and they are a blast. Currently the latest game is based 3 Kingdoms. Probably logges about 1k hours playing it. They are releasing another next year based on the Trojan War.

Shogun 2 is probably my favorite in the series and I still play that from time to time.

This is correct. Hudson himself let the success of Mass Effect go to his head. He was the one that basically shit on fans for not liking his ending to that trilogy. Glad he is gone quite frankly.

Looking forward to the new DA as think the Dread Wolf story is a winner and will be hard to **** up IMO but Bioware will try.

I am clearly biased having seen this happen live, but I put the blame on EA mainly.

Their best games ie ME2 & ME3 as well as the DA series was released after EA bought them. Only the original ME was largely developed prior to the sale and gameplay and graphics wise it was the worst of the bunch.

The main influence of EA was microtransactions but for ME and DA those transactions were outside of the main game and just in multiplayer.

The biggest issue IMO really was Hudson. He was upset with the fallout out from ME3's ending and decided to stick it to fans instead of take the criticism and improve. He completely abandoned Andromeda and quite frankly Anthem should have been a new ME game. Never understood why they just didnt take the Anthem engine and apply it to ME and DA universe as fans would love to have all the squadmates be controllable by human players. Instead they put it in a new game with underdeveloped characters that no one game a shit about.

If they had libked Anthem to the ME universe, they would have made a boatload of money. They could have easily just said the events took place in a different galaxy amd changed the story a bit.

I think the reality is that Bioware was long a mismanaged studio prior to being acquired by EA, but through a combination of talented people, great ideas, and "Bioware magic" (really just poor project management and getting lucky), things always came together at the last minute for them (again, read Schreir's article). Then they got an infusion of resources from EA and an expectation that they were supposed to start pumping out AAA games that they were just never prepared to handle effectively, and that's when you started to see parts flying off the plane. Then the real core talent started leaving, and they've never really replaced those folks like Karpyshyn, Gaider, Laidlaw, etc. Then suddenly the AAA projects started flopping one after the other because the last of the people who were holding the plane together with gum & duct tape were gone. I almost feel like they need a few years to refocus on smaller projects and grow their own talent before they go back to AAA games, but that's obviously not acceptable to EA.
