12/9 on Steam.
You get it a day earlier than me then.
He'll probably finish in 10 hours and then post spoilers here.

I've heard you can rush through the main story in like 15 hrs. Then I heard someone else say they were like 175 hrs in with still more to do. This thing sounds massive, with all the side missions and stuff. And, everything you do can impact the paths and outcome. He'll probably finish in 10 hours and then post spoilers here.

I honestly think it's because all these reviewers had it for like a week, and were under a deadline to pump out content. So they cranked through it as fast as they could to get their piece / YouTube review out before launch. I'm planning on taking my sweet ass time with it.I never understood why people rush through a game. I like to take my time and do all the side missions...

You know, if you'd have told me 20 years ago that I'd be reading reviews of video games in the Washington Post one day, I wouldn't have believed you.
Yeah, PS4You getting it for console?
Yeah, PS4
Same. But I've kinda got used to the handicap now. I know you've got a similar situation, but I'm also in front of a computer all day for work. When I want to chill and play a game, which is maybe 5hrs a week max, I like to be on my couch relaxing and out of my office. Plus I'm not isolated from the rest of the family for hours on end. My wife kinda enjoys watching me play stuff with a strong story. She thinks it's like watching a movie or something. Shrug. Sounds boring af to me, but to each their own.I would buy it for PC anyways, preference for mouse/keyboard, but my PC should do the graphics more justice than PS4 or XB1.
I am so much better at FPS games with mouse/keyboard than thumbsticks it is kinda ridiculous.

I actually get paranoid when I play a game and the main story moves too fast, thinking I'm rushing the game.
I kinda felt that way when I played Jedi: Fallen Order.
@Tater you gotta remember we're older gamers with different attention spans and ability to get immersion in an entertainment experience.
Some people simply don't have the patience to actually play the character(s) in the game.... they look at it like a movie they want to finish so they can say they saw/played it.
Whereas others play a game and make the character/experience their own.
And lastly, speed runs are a thing.... some gamers compete to finish games fast and care about nothing else.
To each their own....if you're enjoying video games, in whatever form you like, keep at it.
PS: @Tater did you know modern teenage girls will spend time alone in a teenage boy's room.... watching him play video games... for hours. Man I woulda been a a stud in high school under these new rules. I feel like Michael Jordan watching mfers play basketball where you can't get touched. Why rules/norms?!?!? WHYYYYY?!?!?
That's fascinating to me about your wife.
It makes me wonder if my perspective on gaming is warped.
I can play just about any game on any console or PC, in terms of skill.
There are games I don't like or stories I don't like, but I've never seen video games and thought "Man that sounds cool, but I don't have the skill to play it."
Perhaps video games appeal to more women these days, but if you grew up never gaming, it might appear like a medium that you're unable to access.... unless you just watch it while someone plays.
How many people are video game "fans" in this world.... people whom enjoy video games, but only watching others play them.
