here's the deal, as yeah sure the defense is broken, but the offense isn't really looking that great at the moment either -how do you address both of those? I don't see it happening, and even if they are 'in the playoffs' right now, I don't see that lasting.

Of course, as usual, I want to be wrong.

You are not wrong. As a long, long time fan you get a feeling watching them play....the last few years its been mostly a postive feel to the games. I have not felt that way all year with this particular version of the Blackhawks. Something has been wrong with this mix from day one. Even when they were winning early, it didnt feel right....there was something missing. The cliche of chemistry comes to mind which I never bought into much but this team is missing something....something more than a player or two.

Yeah, it appears that is the case. Thats why its been my contention that they should be sellers and not buyers at this years trade deadline.
