This looks like one of the weakest NFL draft classes in recent memory.

1. CB, Travis Hunter
2. DE, Abdul Carter
3. DT, Mason Graham
4. RB, Ashton Jeanty
5. CB, Will Johnson
6. OL, Kelvin Banks
7. OL, Will Campbell
8. DE, Mykel Williams
9. WR, Tetairoa McMillan
10. WR, Matthew Golden

The draft board after the draft looks empty. Glad I could help.

Its because it is weak at the top.......

At least Poles struck for his qb in the right draft of the past three

Hopefully kills any chance of Stewart or Scourton at 10.

You can't purposely leave the top QB off the board, TE and Safety are very good. The draft is strong in some places and weak in others. They can't all be loaded.

It's a weak class, especially at QB, and I think WR. What I'm hearing is deep at RB, TE, and I want to say DT. So that's another reason I'm okay with Jeanty at #10 with all of the moves we've made. We definitely can get depth on OL/DL. I'd ignore LB, CB, and S entirely this year.

I'll just do what i would like to see with our first 4 picks.

DE
OL
RB
WR

In whatever order.

I still would go Will Campbell or Kelvin Banks if they are there. Do not assume that you have enough OL help.

Would go Walker and Pearce at edge also. Stewart would be good in a trade down scenario.

Jeanty to me is not worth a 1st round pick. When he played better competition, he was not nearly as good. Get a solid RB later.

I think Warren is going to be a really good TE. Unfortunately, he will not be there in the 2nd. Not sure they can take him unless they trade down. Too rich at 10.

If they draft either of those tackles that means braxton is either not healthy or traded.

I heavily doubt he's a backup this year considering he's an average NFL tackle and as we saw today tackles even worse than him got a big payday. Braxton could easily command a 3rd or 4th on the trade market

Much more likely they draft a guard who played tackle in college as well in the 2nd or 3rd, like donovan jackson and stash him as a young redshirt backup

I agree that 10 is too early for a RB in today’s game but I do think his game will translate to the NFL. IMO he will be a stud.

Maybe, I've posted it before but the level of competition is certainly a concern.

He faced like 3 defenses all year that werent bottom 20 in rush defense in the NCAA. Guys tape looks like a HS Highlight reel due to the bad tackling, that isnt happening in the NFL often

Not saying great players havent came out of the MWC, but if he did this in like the ACC(like Hampton) it would be more impressive.

I think your concerns are 100% valid. I don’t think I’d draft him at 10 but I see him as a mix between Monty and Gibbs. If we get him it’ll most likely because BJ got a hard on for him. His vision and contact balance are elite imo.
