:lmao:

So what is it? Root for them 1 game at a time or don't bother at all? You completely contradicted yourself in a manner of 5 posts.

And there's absolutely ZERO chance that this current teams tanks anything. What would even make you think that would be an option?

While I do feel Deng should just have the surgery and miss the Olympics, I fully understand why he wants to & WILL play in them, & I bear no ill-will toward him for doing so. He is a huge deal in the UK. He's on money over there. This is his adopted country that gave him & his family asylum & they are hosting the games. He takes great pride in, not only being one of the faces of the London Olympics, but having a chance to honor his country on the biggest stage. Oh, & he could care less if he gets paid for it.

There is NO contradiction. If the Bulls de-activated Deng so he could have season-ending surgery, I'd STILL root for this team every single game day-in-day-out. I don't bare any ill-will towards Deng. I am more angry at the front office who are basically letting him do something that will harm the Bulls SEVERELY next season (a season [unlike this one] where they might have a shot at winning a championship).

The Bulls are paying him 15M per-season? They should've told him that if the Bulls make the Finals THEN he could elect to not have the surgery and miss part of net season. This guy's JOB is to do what the CHICAGO BULLS NEED him to do. Not play in the Olympics.

Derrick Rose had to sacrifice his GOLD medal for his JOB this year, too.

Glad you clarified that, because your original post had me thinking otherwise, I was going to ask you to turn in your Bulls Fan Card.

If thinking the Bulls have a 0% chance of winning a championship this June makes me a non-Bulls fan then I am, indeed, not a fan. I'm already thinking about next season because that actually matters- unlike this one.

I enjoy watching the Bulls play and always have even when they were shitty and it makes me feel good to see the players do well at times. That's what makes me a fan. It has shit-all to do with believing they have a chance in hell of winning a title.

Again, only coming to this site to bash people. I have barely been on here for the past month and I found it hilarious that you are still proving what a loser you are (i.e. I saw a post you left bashing me TODAY). Please climb off of my nuts and retain what little self-respect you have left.

Post-count does not make you, Houheffna, and FirstTimer any less loser-ish. If anything, that works against your favor in that argument.

Dude...I am trying to be nice...keep me out of it.

How did Rose sacrifice his Gold medal for his job? Rose has more than one job.

Also, you didn't do your research. The NBA is NOT ALLOWED TO ASK PLAYERS TO SKIP THE OLYMPICS. No team can do that, its illegal according to league CBA. Also, do you at all know Deng's story? If you did, you wouldn't make those comments. If not for UK, Deng might not be alive. Playing for his country is, to him, an obligation. And it is very understandable.

May be true.

However, I will NEVER....never lay down. I didn't lay down when Boston was supposed to smoke us. I didn't lay down, down 3 games to Miami...and I sure as **** won't do it without Rose.

Teams who write their teams off before it's over are CHUMPS.

I'm not even a Bulls fan, but you can't have this attitude. If the season is over, why even bother going to or watching the games? In sports you need hope, otherwise there isn't a reason to watch.

Orly

Then why did ANYBODY attend a Bobcats game this season? Or 20 other teams for that matter.

Hope is not just about winning the championship. And sports is about more than hope believe it or not.

The season isn't over, but the Bulls' title hopes this year are shot to hell.

Logically they were shot to hell when LeBron signed in Miami. Still gotta show up and play the games and have hope.

I still think we can win the championship. I'm not as confident as I was with a healthy Rose but I won't give up until we're out.

That's what I said people were still doubting the Bulls even before Rose teared his ACL.

There is more to sports than hope, because sports are still fun to watch and play, but at the end of the day it is one of the most important things you can have.

You can believe whatever you want as a fan, but telling your fellow Bulls fan brethren to essentially quit on the team is pretty lame. I'll be the first to admit that my Sixers have next to no shot at winning a title, but I will never tell another Sixers fan not to believe they have a shot if they want to believe it. Otherwise, it would be pretty depressing to follow the team, and who wants a morbid atmosphere around your sports teams? Sports are about fun.

Stop liking the 76ers and be a Bulls fan.

Then we can be friends.

Apparently it's more fun to talk shit about a team that is down, than show them support and appreciation for building a great team and not ignoring the fans. Whether or not we win anything from this point on is irrelevant. What is relevant, is whether or not you like basketball.

Ill be proud of my Bulls as long as they give it there best everynight unlike the last game.
It appeared that the Bulls gave up the last game before any fan did.

But win or loose, I'm still rolling with the Bulls.

BUT,,,,,,,it is logical to assume that the Bulls title chances are burned in the fire with Rose's knee.
And there is also nothing wrong with Bulls fans thinking of ideas for next season, because it is coming.

AND IT WOULD BE THE RIGHT THING OF DENG TO TAKE CARE OF HIS INJURY THIS OFFSEASON INSTEAD OF GOING OVER SEAS FOR THE SUMMER GAMES.

Rose isn't going to walk through that door anytime soon, and as long as the players go about it the same way they did all year long when he was absent, the Bullscan still do some damage this playoff seaaon, but a championship doesn't seem likely.

But of course I hope I'm wrong.
The Bulls winning without Rose would make a great feel good story like Linsanity.

You all talk about "hope." Derrick Rose was our "hope" of winning a title.

Now that he is gone, this is what I hope- that the Bulls go down with a lot of effort and heart. I will root every single game but deep-down, I know they are not going to win the title.

Anybody who thinks the Bulls have a chance in hell of winning a title without Rose better be the same ones who said that Rose did not deserve the MVP award last year.

I nowhere said for them to quit on the Bulls. I essentially said that I am sick of some of the Bulls' fans out there being loud and obnoxious and calling out peoples' fan-hood for telling the truth- that the Bulls are going to lose before that 16th playoff victory this season. I root every game and it is RARE that I miss a game.

False. When LeBron signed with Miami, that team consisted of 5 players of the 12 needed for a full active roster. And then they traded Beasley for nothing so it was actually 4 players taking up essentially every last bit of cap-space. James, Wade, and Bosh are all limited offensively together because of the fact that they are all isolation scorers and mid-range jump-shooters. Defense is what makes the Miami Heat as consistent as they are. Their offense is actually pretty shaky from very good to very mediocre.

And by all means don't give up. But unless the Miami Heat's team plane crashes (and Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili dying of natural causes just before the NBA Finals), then it is over. And I am not one to root for injuries. I'd prefer winning the title a different way. Watch them and root for them just like you should do any other year they don't have a chance in hell. Were you watching and rooting for them back in 1999 when they were clinched out of making the playoffs halfway through the regular season? I was. In fact, I watched almost very game that year.

Saying that they don't have a chance at a championship is a far cry from talking shit. And I agree- whether or not you like Chicago Bulls basketball is what ultimately matters.
