We have a "Grimaldi's" in Corpus Christi. It's pretty good. My only complaint is we went in for late lunch/early dinner one afternoon and told they had to clean oven/restoke fire and it would be an hour wait to order pizza.

Gus, would love to create a workout thread with you. With your burpie expertise, should we create one? You can tell us the awesome mush results you have from being a crossfit bro.

The origin of pizza is America is debatable.

My favorite is Fasano's Pizza in Bridgeview. Great thin crust pizza.

Joe Italian Villa also in Bridgeview is a good thin crust as well.

Some they can keep are:
Girodano's
Lou Malnati's
Gino Easst/West
Basically I am an anti chain guy for just about everyone.

I love Fasano's. I think it's Justice though not Bridgeview.

I don't know how the other locations are comparatively..but if you are in NY try the original. I can almost guarantee you will love the pizza!!

Hopefully they had a good beer menu. I was at Roots Pizza last week and got a Zombie Dust that keg blew and then had a couple Permanent Funeral both from Three Floyds. I know either of these will never make it down your way but those 2 are some top rated beers.

Harris Pizza
I live pretty close to the Bettendorf one. Have to pace myself. Although, if given the choice I slightly prefer Fields of Pizza in Moline/East Moline.

Is that the one at the mall? We meant to try it but moved before we did. We did try the B&Js place on Staples. OK pizza, nice beer selection.

That's the best way to do pepperoni.

Desp, you've made this thread before.

No it's not. Under the cheese if you please. Ensures no slippage occurring.

You bias'd!!!!
I do work for them, so I can totally see that. But I've had a ton of pizza if you ever meet me you'll see the belly half a block before you see the rest.

Giordano's is hot garbage. Aurelio's is not good (however I ave not had any in 29 years). Rosati's, Vita Bella's, Geno's, Uno's, Lou's are all meh. I like Fox's and Monicals, but it's really "cracker" pizza on how thin those are with the cornmeal crust. And let's not pretend the $5-10 pizza's are good (Pizza Hut, Domino's, Little Cesar's, Papa John's, Georgio's, etc)

The best is still a mom and pop place for me.

Blarney Stone in Oak Forest does good pizza. I had an sausage/Italian beef/giardiniera last night.

They have a wide variety of beer in bottles. On tap not so much past Blue Moon, Shiner, Sam Adams, Stella ect.... I've had Lagunitas vareities from a bottle there several times..
