The frozen section of Jewel
Those 3 dollar Jewell brand pizzas are surprisingly good, used to get them for my kids and found out their pretty good.

Desp, would love to hear your thoughts in the Trump thread.

Chain: Beggars
Non-Chain: Fasano's in Bridgeview
The origin of pizza is America is debatable.
My favorite is Fasano's Pizza in Bridgeview. Great thin crust pizza.
Joe Italian Villa also in Bridgeview is a good thin crust as well.
Some they can keep are:
Girodano's
Lou Malnati's
Gino Easst/West
Basically I am an anti chain guy for just about everyone.
We have a "Grimaldi's" in Corpus Christi. It's pretty good. My only complaint is we went in for late lunch/early dinner one afternoon and told they had to clean oven/restoke fire and it would be an hour wait to order pizza.

I live pretty close to the Bettendorf one. Have to pace myself. Although, if given the choice I slightly prefer Fields of Pizza in Moline/East Moline.Harris Pizza
Is that the one at the mall? We meant to try it but moved before we did. We did try the B&Js place on Staples. OK pizza, nice beer selection. We have a "Grimaldi's" in Corpus Christi. That's the best way to do pepperoni.
Desp, you've made this thread before.
I do work for them, so I can totally see that. But I've had a ton of pizza if you ever meet me you'll see the belly half a block before you see the rest. You bias'd!!!!

Giordano's is hot garbage. Aurelio's is not good (however I ave not had any in 29 years). Rosati's, Vita Bella's, Geno's, Uno's, Lou's are all meh. I like Fox's and Monicals, but it's really "cracker" pizza on how thin those are with the cornmeal crust. And let's not pretend the $5-10 pizza's are good (Pizza Hut, Domino's, Little Cesar's, Papa John's, Georgio's, etc)
The best is still a mom and pop place for me.
Hopefully they had a good beer menu. I was at Roots Pizza last week and got a Zombie Dust that keg blew and then had a couple Permanent Funeral both from Three Floyds. I know either of these will never make it down your way but those 2 are some top rated beers.
