I have been to Pequods in many occasions. It is simply the best Chicago style pizza I've had. Being that many people from out of town go to more known places like Unos or Dues, I cannot stress enough how much ya guys are missing out on great local Chicago pizza by not trying this pizza!! The sauce is fantastic. The crust is very good. And the prices are extremely reasonable. I hope more people read this and move on over from the Unos franchises and such, to a local based pizza place such as Pequods. Forget the snobbery of some Chicagoans, who almost shun on this becoming "touristy". Forget that! This is hands down the best pizza in Chicago. I can't wait to drive back on over there and grab me some!

I'm going to try them soon, I prefer thin crust due to a lot of the deep dish/pan are just too doughy. Are they known for the pan style?

Grimaldi's in the base of the Brooklyn bridge. Sorry boys but Chi town pizza doesn't hold a candle to that authentic NYC coal fired brick oven...

Plus there is a homemade ice cream shop next door you can get some delicious dessert and have an amazing view of NYC just to top it off...

Idk what these creepers are insinuating, but I can say that although pequods is good, it's not worth the hour + wait. It's mostly just bread and very little sauce/ toppings.

It's a shame that burts place is no longer around due to the passing of the owner. Really great pizza!

That'd be wonderful if they all offer frozen Aurelio's at the store. And let's just make sure you're in tip top crossfit shape for This fall [emoji28].

Burpies bro, burpies

You could have gotten it warm.

And you're more than welcome to referee. IHSA needs younger officials!

Try Roots, great assortment of craft beers and a style of pizza known as "Quad cities style" worth a visit.
I've never had Roots, but am from the Quad Cities and love that style pizza. So, I'd second this recommendation.

I don't know. Never been. That review was by Despbro, aka ramblin34, 2 years ago.
