What was the biggest reason we lost to Miami in 2011?

A.) Derrick Rose's Bad Decision Making
B.) Carlos Boozer and Joakim Noah got outplayed by Chris Bosh
C.) Bench was no where to be found
D.) Needed another playmaker
E.) Needed a scorer at SG
F.) Thibs was outcoached

Each game the Bulls had an opportunity to win..The defense was fine, but when the 4th quarter rolled around, no one could step up and score while rose was double and triple teamed...Not many can keep Lebron or wade from getting there points...or even bosh most nights...

A lot of factors caused the team to lose, but really just came from the team not scoring in the 4th quarter. They scored enough to be in the games the first three quarters. Just didn't come in the clutch which was the 4th quarter in its totality. Part of that could have been just plain missing shots, being nervous, forcing things, or just inexperience.

If I could vote for two I'd say playmaker and scorer at SG. Rose needs someone to help him out offensively. The numbers show that. Our 4 main guys shot lower than 42% and in most cases, under 40%. That's just not gonna cut it.

How about Miami being a better team? They had the best player on the floor which usually means a lot, and they were the better team going in...that is the main reason the Bulls lost.

D and E(the other letters are factors but i think these two are the most important)

also an option i'd like to be added is lack of 3 pt shooting

and i agree with hou that miami was a better team overalll when they played...especially with the advantage offensively with 3 weapons

lebron's awesomeness was the reason they lost. /sarcasm

They had the best front-runner, hot dog, lead from the front player on the floor and the Bulls didn't.

The Heat were just a flat out better team and Lebron and Wade were clutch as hell down the stretch of important games.

It's really tough to call any of thes ethe "biggest reason" we lost. If the bench plays better does the SG position really matter? If we have a dynamic SG does the bench play matter as much?

Boozer and Noah's dick shrinking in the series didn't help but I don't think it cost them the series alone. Tough to say what the "biggest reason" was.

Miami was just a better team at that time of year for a multitude of reasons.

Id say thibs being outcoached and the bulls youth and lack of experience. Peoplee tend to forget that rose is only 22.

Playmaker/Scorer @ SG would be my combo choice if that was possible.

The Heat did have 6 men on the floor at one time :turrible: coaching.

Like Rami said Lebron is the only person who can shut Lebron down, and same thing with Thibodeau.

The only person who outcoached Thibodeau this season was Tom Thibodeau.

Well when you have a non chocking Lebron combined with Wade and Bosh, that team is going to be better than the other team 99.9% of the time.

You could also say that Lebron and Wade don't have to shoulder the load like Rose does because they have each other and Bosh. Other teams can just focus all their defense on Rose because we don't have another guy that can create offense like he does. Boozer is our closest thing, but he was injured at the time. If maybe he has a game 3 like performance a few more times that series we could've won a couple more games. Maybe the series.

If you look at the stats (I think someone posted them somewhere) you'll see that Rose got destroyed by the defensive pressure (35% fg and 22% 3s iirc) and he didn't get much help from anyone. You look at the numbers for the Heat and you'll see that even though Wade played like crap (you could say we shut him down or whatever it doesn't matter) and Lebron didn't destroy us, Bosh shot 60% against us and was probably the reason we lost several games. Why did he score so many points shooting jumpers? Because we were so focused on stopping Lebron and Wade that we forgot about him. If we had another guy to help out Rose, maybe Boozer or Deng could actually produce decently.
