What was the biggest reason we lost to Miami in 2011?

Simply put, we need another playmaker... imo we can't just have one guy scoring 20+.

Questionable calls, no calls, loss of confidence from Derrick, Korver's lost shooting, too many 3pt attempts, bad rotation decisions, etc were all issues in one game or the other. Overall I think the lack of experience, then lesser talent was the primary causes for our team to lose to the same team we had anal fu**ed in Game 1. If this season finally rolls around, I hope the experiences have helped our players understand that consistency is key, and a well conditioned team allows our players to stay consistent throughout all 4 qtrs.

We'll see if the Bulls are ready for the league, or if the league is ready for Bulls. As a Bulls fan, the team set a high-standard last year so the goal this season is to exceed those past accomplishments.

Thank you, that is correct.
The Bulls hung in there with the Heat in almost every game and even had big leads.
There problem was that they collapsed in the scoring catagory in the fourth quarters.
If just one other player could of helped Rose score we could of got past the Heat.
Bulls need to work on getting decent scoring guard that can also make plays.
If PaxGar can get this 1 missing piece to add to our puzzle, We can win it all next season.

I, somewhat, agree about the addition of a play maker but that player will come at a cost. The 62-wins matter but success in the playoffs means more. I believe draft-and-develop is the best LONG term option but for fans wanting a championship before the 2012 catastrophic theories potentially occur. I'm not as anxious, I'm just glad that the Bulls are back to relevance and I, as a fan and gambaholic, can afford to place a $20 for every game of the season and still come out on positive- the 62 wins paid my rent. But seriously, I honestly believe with Rose approaching a new contract that the Bulls FO will sit on their/his wallet... And I AGREE! We don't want to be stuck in a money trap and lose players we will need to resign. Rose and Deng are priorities, followed by a FREE agent pickup- I've said it before. As long as we don't lose financial flexibility or core rotation players. We don't need that much improvement- maybe better rotations down the stretch would have won those games and series for us last year... All I'm saying is that the talent we had last year was good enough to finish first in the league in wins and miss the Finals by less than 30 combined points in the losses.
A few players fit the bill of what the FO should be looking for and it starts with- JR Smith/Shannon Brown/Richardson- because they all are street FAs and we can keep the last years roster together and allow Scal to remain overseas. But if we don't pick anyone up, I don't see us falling below .500 with Rose at the Helm, hell even with Watson at the controls- which I have suggested as a permanent fix (on a strategic 20-min basis) with Rose shifting to SG- which he actually plays when he goes into iso.

Enough rambling- what player in your opinion would round out the roster without losing financial flexibility?
