God is Dead - Black Sabbath

I have to say that I'm very surprised and impressed with this album. Old school Sabbath sound.

I seriously cannot get enough of this guy. He's fucking amazing and he's a one man band (though on the album he layers it a bit, but live it's only him and a bunch of instruments he plays simultaneously).

Im not really a huge prog rock fan. I don't dislike it either. been listening to a lot of Steven Wilson lately. Former front man of Porcupine Tree. I like him even though a lot of prog rock fans dont appear to like his solo stuff. I was initially drawn to his music videos because they are amazing..now I'm really hooked on his music.

love me some aesop rock. I think hes one of the most inventive and creative guys in the rap scene. Do the kids call it "rap" still? Raw raw raw contemporary underground new york style. Not a lot of songs of his have that "hook" that a lot of rap artists lean on. Not that he doesn't have songs with hooks but he can really be versatile and steps away from the "commercial blueprint" a lot.

Not to be confused with ASAP ROCK..who sucks.
