I don't understand your response. Was your post directed to the article link or Gar's statements?

I actually believe what Gar is saying in that interview. Considering Rose is out for the season & Deng was not in their future plans, it makes sense to get out of the tax for this season. He's also correct with the terminology. It's not a rebuild, it's a re-tool to replace Luol Deng & Carlos Boozer.

We're gonna have a great team at some point next season.

Tanking is for pussies and losers! Only weak minded MB kids want their team to tank. Bulls fans like this are too stupid to realize that their Bulls team has way too much Heart to ever do this. Furthermore, imo, the Bulls will be a team people won't want to face in the early rounds of the playoffs, you watch.

Point of the season? I thought it was pretty obvious, draft picks and cap room.

Idk...I don't think Indiana or Miami are batting an eyelash at us. If we had a healthy DRose and still had Deng that'd be a different story of course, but then, we probably wouldn't have this thread lol. Teams seeded between 3-8, sure we probably scare them. But then it's just Indiana or Miami right after and we're right back to the original problem.

I said "early rounds" to, hopefully to not get into specific seeding debates ...... however, we've always play the Pacers tough, even w/o Rose. So, I guess, that would fall into my "teams might not want to see us in the 1st round of the playoffs. Even if the Pacer won, they'd be in a physical battle, in the 1st round.

Do you get it yet?

Are you familiar with the term, management speak?

If not, nevermind.

Fair point and your point was never missed. I'm just of the opinion that Indiana isn't more afraid of losing to us than any other team in the East. It's basically them against Miami duking it out. Would we play them tough and beat them up physically a little bit? Sure, but they have all the confidence in the world that they can take out any team in the East not named Miami...and rightfully so.

That is a bit much...

In the NBA, better to be bad than mediocre. That is why teams tank.

I'd rather be the team in the lottery getting a stud young player than to be the "team nobody wants to face in the first round of the playoffs", why? Because the "team nobody wants to face in the first round of the playoffs" don't win championships.

Too bad this team can't embrace that fact

Exactly. Chicago fans should be sick of being the team "nobody wants to face in the first round." All that equates to is mediocrity.

It's time for a blank slate.

I'm not sure what you're trying to say... I was predicting Indy was gonna beat the Heat last year, if we couldn't. I'm just talking about showing up, playing ball, and trying to win a game!

I'd rather be a team that was too proud to tank, and fought hard, but came up short this year, only to get the trophy next year! **** all the tanking, **** sucking, girly man, thinking, whatever, Bitches!
