Depends on the type of drunk I'm going for.

Binge Drink - Busch Light
Night Cap - Canadian Whiskey
Trying to get my wife drunk - Cupcake Moscato
Morning Drink - OJ + Vodka

I mainly stick with local craft Brews for anything else.

My default is a craft beer but lately I’ve been dipping a toe into the scotch pool. I started a scotch thread a while ago so if you have any specific type or any other thoughts hit that up. The best I’ve bought so far is Little Bay from Oban. It’s a good single malt blend with a good mix of young and old scotch

It's not a bad wine and it about right in the price range. Just a step up from cheap wine but not to expensive that you're going to go bankrupt.

Bulleit Rye
Current favorite cocktail is the super sweet, chicks drink Old Fashioned. Tough to make from scratch, easy using these things.

A 4:1 of Bourbon (I prefer Bulleit Rye), to this stuff. http://www.proofsyrup.com/

With two or three of these things because they are amazing.

If you like cocktails go check out Violet hour in the city.
I don't know if you live in Chicago, but it's well worth it. Might have to stand in a line though.

That place looks interesting, I live in the suburbs, but I would check that place out next time I'm in the city. The place that got me into into the Old Fashioned is Maize + Mash in Glen Ellyn just a few minutes from me. They also serve the best Manhattan I've ever had.

Jameson for my whiskey. Bluemoon, Brown ales, and Flat Tire beers depending on what I am having to eat and what I am doing.

Effen Black Cherry Vodka

It tastes like flavored water. I can't drink cheap stuff without gagging.

Coat the bottom of a highball glass with grenadine.
Add ice and vodka.
Fill with cola.
Garnish with cherries.
