Effen Black Cherry Vodka

It tastes like flavored water. I can't drink cheap stuff without gagging.

Coat the bottom of a highball glass with grenadine.
Add ice and vodka.
Fill with cola.
Garnish with cherries.

Vodka and coke? That sounds fucking disgusting.

Ha! This is exactly what I drink in the evenings during the week. Sleepytime green decaf and then a glass of red before bed.

Mostly a single malt guy now. Tried most things under $100 and Laphroaig is my go to.

Guinness is my go to beer. Tried hundreds of different beers and always end up back there..

A good sake (daiginjo) once in a while.

A nice tempranillo does me fine. Bout covers it.

Red wine is high in antioxidants and good for your blood/heart. Plus I like the nice light warm buzz to drift to sleep with.

Problem with wine is that it will make you sleepy and give you a headache.

"Some believe the cause of wine headaches might be the histamine and tyramine naturally present in wine. It's a one-two punch, as histamine dilates blood vessels and tyramine first constricts then dilates them. Apparently, some people lack an enzyme in their intestines that can help metabolize histamine. Tyramine, on the other hand, can raise blood pressure."

Do you drink expensive red wine?

Not usually no. Hy-Vee has plenty of solid Cabs and Merlots in the $7-$10 range.

I only get a headache from it if I drink a lot, which I never do. Usually just a glass or maybe two at the most.

As for the blood pressure, all alcohol will raise it if you drink in excess. Small amounts of red wine are great for your heart. The tannins protect against heart disease and it helps with anti-clotting too. Very good in moderation.

You can mix Vodka with just about everything. Vodka is definitely one of the best mixing alcohols out there.

Don't knock it until you try it.

You drink your sake cold or hot?
I love hot sake, but only when i eat sushi.
I don't drink it otherwise.

Hot sake is the cheap shit. Most people have no idea what good sake tastes like.

You can warm up any sake, or ice it. It's personal perefernce.

You can warm up beer or wine or ice it too. Doesn't make it the right thing to do.

If I drink Tequilla, it has to be anejo or extra anejo. I can't drink this reposado or blanco stuff

It's very similar to tequila, but not really tequila. It's not an agave product, so it can't truly be considered to be in the mezcal family; but the flavor is what you'd expect from a super-premium mezcal. I have trouble finding it with any sort of regularity, so if you happen to come across it make sure to pick that shit up.
