Three FLoyds makes some really solid shit. Still slightly irritated that I missed Dark Lord Day the year I had tickets (was in Africa instead, so I supose that's acceptable).

It's not particularly special. My, off the boat, German professor brought us some; I was more impressed by the chunk of the "wall" he had chilling in his garage.

I'd expect a lager with a lot more body to it than the US version.

DLD sounds so crazy I've never tried it, but I've been to the brewery a couple times.

^^^ I always wanted to try that Budweiser, it isn't available in US is it?

Usually as Czechvar...although sometimes imports like Pilsner Urquell are watered down before reaching US soil so you might not be able to trust it's potency. You can't get it in Missouri though because The piss collector of the country...er...Anheuser/Busch, cannot make inroads into Europe with the Budweiser name since it's a European trademark (they have to call it "Bud") and they won't sell out since it's a source of pride to Budejovice (originally "Budweis" when they started brewing it hundreds of years ago).

It is a lot better than the American version, but what isn't? It's kinda easy-drinking but still more robust than the "fucking close to water" American macrobrews. I think Šariš is much better.

I will say this, though...That Old Knucklehead...don't make any plans after imbibing one. Notice how much it ranks on the Richter scale.
