I've always been a fan, I have been following more though for the last couple years, since they drafted Kane.

The day I left the hospital... Two days after being born my Dad wrapped me in a Hawks blanket. It was destiny.

I became a total Hawks fan in the 1940s when I was 11 Y/O.
My friend's father liked hockey and took us to a game at the Stadium.
In those days, it was a great place to go if you wanted to be alone in a quiet place.
They stunk up skidrow on Madison St.
I don't remember who the player was butt, I was standing at the end where they went down to the locker room and one of the players reached over & ruffled my hair and said, Hiya, kid".
I wish I could remember who he was.
I used to go all the time when Hull, Mikita, Hall & those guys were kicking ass.
Used to sit in the 1st balcony on the red line on the south side.
What a great place to see the game.
I had always hoped they'd win the Cup again before I croaked and, I AM GONNA GET MY WISH THIS YEAR!!
60+ years a Blackhawks fan.

how old are ya man? It's admirable to see an (older) guy posting on a forum. I appreciate that.

I was going to say that I feel like the old man here but you got me by 10 years. I started being a fan in 1955 and started playing then as well. Lots of fond memories from the Stadium back then. Lots of suffering since because of Rockys' cheap ass dad. Thank God Rocky has the team back on track. How about this one ...............
Remember Howie Long ?

:)

I have become a Hawks fan since I knew what hockey was but this is what I do: Because hockey is boring to me and would rather watch it on TV and not go to a game. That way I can switch the channels. However I have been watching all the Blackhawks games in the playoffs but during the seaon I will sitch back and fouth from a Hawks games. But I do keep up with them where they are in standing trades, injuries, etc.

I've been a Hawk fan since Stan Makita, Bobby Hull, Bill White, Kieth Magnuson, Tony Esposito. Pit Martin, Pappin, Deniss Hull and the rest of the Hawks that played back in the 60's Tony Esposito was my fan favorite back in the day I used to love to mimick him out back in the alley when we used to play street hockey. Man did I ever tear up some pants, my mama used to whoop never mind
