When did you become a Hawks fan?

I didn't start following them until about 2 years ago. Them winning the cup was still simply amazing for me, so I can't imagine what it was like for those who have been loyal fans for decades. Hopefully I'll know soon with the Cubs.

My first Hawks game was in Columbus against the awful Jackets in 2007.

I became a Blackhawks fan in the early 90s when I started playing Hockey and following sports at the age of seven. I have been a die hard fan since no matter the circumstances surrounding the team. Tony Amonte, Jocelyn Thibault, Jeremy Roenick, and Eddy Belfour were my favorite players growing up. Duncan Keith, Marian Hossa, and Jonathan Toews are my favorite players currently on the team.

Belfour and Roenick were my favs.. of course being like 5 or so.. Those were the only guys I knew.

I got into the hawks in 08 when i started to go to the local hockey team here in des moines and i started craving it more and more and the team that was on tv on comcast chicago was the hawks so i started to watch them as much as i could fell in love now am crazy bout the hawks! it was a natural fit with being a cubs and bulls fan too.

When I was younger and we lived in Virginia, we used to go to the Norfolk Admirals games. That's when. I'm sure my family influences would've persuaded me anyways.
