It was huge for Trubs to have a big game today! Not only does it build confidence for the offense moving forward, but it quiets the haters going into the bye week. Otherwise, It may have gotten a bid louder had Mitch had a sub-par performance...even the commentators and media outlets that have been overly critical of him the last few weeks are going to have to tone it down. I and many have been saying it. Give the kid a chance! Throw out last year. He learned close to nothing! Hes basically still not much more than a rookie.

I've said a few times that I gave Mitch until the Bucs to show me something.

Nagy dialed up some beautiful plays & called a great game against a bad Defense.
So happily Nagy showed me something too. Although his clock management is still suspect.

Mitch still showed some of the things he needs to improve on. But he also showed that those things
are fixable in time. Mitch performed well enough that I will ride or die with him for the season even if he has a meltdown somewhere along the line.

The Defense didn't get as much pressure as I thought they would (I had high expectations) but the DBs stepped up & had a solid effort all the way around.
Showed that Fitzmagic was all smoke and mirrors.

Was a good day for Bear fans. Enjoy it
