I don't think I've tested it out at enough places to know haha. But the couple of times I mentioned happened at Whole Foods, and they're usually very helpful there.

For me, if I needed something, I'd ask before I even got to the cashier. Asking at that point seems like a pain imo haha.

Agreed. I've never asked myself.. but witnessed it with other customers. The cashier would usually ask what they were looking for. One time they said they were all out of that product the other time they radio'd to another employee to help find that item.

Personally I would do as you did and just ask before getting to the cashier.

Most dislike as a social norm? Growing grass on your property. Out of millions of plants, most grow something pretty useless by comparison, then instead of applying the main natural usage for it, we just cut it, some bag it, dump it places. Never really question why or change it.

Oh I've questioned that ever since my father made me mow the lawn... When I moved out, I bought a town house, then sold it and moved in with my now wife's townhouse, so I haven't cut grass in 5 years. Don't miss it, and when we do eventually buy a house, I want as little grass as possible. I want a giant garden actually. She tells me she wants grass so the future kids can run around.. perhaps that's why we have grass.

If it's pizza or Chinese or anyplace where carryout is a big part of their business, hell no. If it's a real restaurant where carryout is not typical and requires special effort the waitress has to put the order together, that takes time and gets a couple bucks. Not 20% like we had a table, but something for the effort.

another cheapskate. Give a couple bucks.

I actually liked mowing the lawn growing up haha. I loved the smell of freshly cut grass because it reminded me of summer mornings, and I felt accomplished afterwards haha. Although, it did take me quite a while since the house was on a double lot with a huge backyard. That part did kind of suck.

I fertilize it, seed it, aerate it, spray it . I dont live in a neighborhood but if my grass looks good my house looks good.

breastfeeding in public. If it's discreet not so bad. But flaunting it is another story.

When people dont slow down a lil bit when you turn into the street in front of them or merge, or turn left in front of them heading towards you in the opposite lane.

I've never tipped picking up carryout, why would you tip a cashier?

I don't think this is a social norm, I think you've been conned

The cook who made your food. In some states, cooks make less than minimum wage because they're considered tipped workers (tips are shared).
