We just bought a townhouse with antiny plot of grass and i was like oh **** and bought a weedeater. Come to find out the association pays for the grass ‘mowing’. I had to mow 18 acres every 2 weeks as a kid so i chalk it up to ptsd

I did? Those tablets always suggest a tip when i pick up my carryout... come to think of it, so does the ogilvie station commuter beer stop, and they don’t even use a tablet

I'm Canadian. I tip the guy at the gas station, and would tip the cashiers at Safeway, if they weren't union and it wouldn't cost them their job. Social norms for me are pretty much my social life.

When i lived in nyc it was during this moral panic about scandinavians leaving their kids’ strollers parked on the sidewalk (with the kids still in them). while they went into the bar. Some Danish couple did it in the east village and they threw the book at them. I guess I sided with giuliani on that one
